1958.8—1963.1

Installation engineering company directly under Yunnan Construction Engineering Bureau

July 1, 1958

Yunnan Provincial Urban Construction Bureau and southwest No.3 engineering company of the Ministry of construction were merged to establish Yunnan Provincial Construction Engineering Bureau. The third engineering division of the eighth industrial equipment installation company of the Ministry of construction moved from Sichuan to Yunnan to establish the installation engineering company directly under the Yunnan Construction Engineering Department. On August 1, the installation engineering company was officially established, with the name of "installation engineering company directly under Yunnan Construction Engineering Bureau";. The company has jurisdiction over the first installation engineering office, the second installation engineering office and metal structure factory. The first installation engineering office is the predecessor of construction investment and second safety.

June 2, 1959

The Construction Engineering Bureau of Yunnan Province was cancelled and the Department of construction engineering of Yunnan Province was established. The name of the company shall be changed to "installation engineering company directly under Yunnan Construction Engineering Department"

April 21, 1960

"Installation engineering company directly under Yunnan Construction Engineering Bureau" was renamed as "industrial equipment installation company of Yunnan Construction Engineering Department". The leading group, working organization and subordinate units of the company remained basically unchanged.

1961-1963

In accordance with the "eight character policy" (adjustment, consolidation, enrichment and improvement), three companies of Yunnan Construction Engineering Department have been reorganized into five engineering offices, industrial equipment installation company has been downsized into installation engineering office, with four installation teams under it.

In order to further implement the policy of "adjusting, consolidating, enriching and improving" of the national economy, according to the spirit of the instruction of the State Council of "improving the military and simplifying the administration", it was decided to cancel the Department of construction and engineering. With the approval of the Department of construction and engineering, Yunnan Engineering Corporation of the Department of construction and engineering was established with the construction and installation forces of the Department and the Department. The subordinate construction enterprises are still five civil engineering departments, one installation engineering department and one installation engineering department It belongs to four installation teams. Most of the construction force of Yunnan Engineering Corporation of the Ministry of construction engineering was transferred to Yunnan, and "Yunnan Construction and installation Corporation" (hereinafter referred to as "provincial construction") was established. In May of the same year, Yunnan head office of the Ministry of construction (hereinafter referred to as "CSCEC") reorganized the remaining construction units and decided to move the first installation engineering team from Kaiyuan chemical fertilizer plant of the people's Liberation Army to Majie street, western suburb of Kunming city. Based on the original personnel, the head office transferred some cadres and workers to expand it into "Installation Engineering Office of Yunnan Engineering head office of the Ministry of construction".

October 1965

Yunnan Engineering Corporation of the Ministry of construction engineering was cancelled and changed to Kunming headquarters of the Third Engineering Bureau of the Ministry of Construction Engineering (hereinafter referred to as "CSCEC"), and its subordinate installation engineering office was changed to Kunming headquarters Installation Engineering Office of the Ministry of Construction Engineering (hereinafter referred to as "CSCEC installation office"), which is still located in Majie, Xishan District, Kunming.

The installation engineering department moved to Xiaohongshan for office.

November 8, 1972

Yunnan Construction and installation Corporation and Kunming headquarters of the Third Engineering Bureau of the Ministry of construction were cancelled and Yunnan Construction Engineering Corporation was established separately. On December 27 of the same year, the provincial construction engineering company changed the original "Installation Engineering Office of Kunming headquarters of the Third Engineering Bureau of the Ministry of Construction Engineering" to "the second installation engineering office of Yunnan Construction Engineering Company".

Yunnan Construction Engineering Company was changed to Yunnan Construction Engineering Bureau.

February 19, 1979

"The second installation engineering division of Yunnan Construction Engineering Company" is changed to "the second construction and installation company of Yunnan Province". The company has four construction teams, one processing workshop and one automobile team.

July 18, 1978

Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China decided to change Yunnan Construction Engineering Company to Yunnan Construction Engineering Bureau in the document of Yunfa (78) No. 165.

March 1983

Yunnan Construction Engineering Bureau was changed to Yunnan Construction Engineering Corporation. The name of the second construction and installation company in Yunnan Province remained unchanged, but labor service company and transportation station were newly established.

Yunnan No.2 installation engineering company

September 17, 1990

Yunnan Construction Engineering Corporation issued the notice on name change of two installation companies (YJ [90] No. 112). In order to make the name of the company consistent with the business content and avoid confusion with the civil engineering company, the second construction and installation company of Yunnan Province was renamed as the second installation engineering company of Yunnan Province after the research and decision of Yunnan Construction Engineering Corporation. After the name change, the company's nature, affiliation, accounting system and organizational structure remain unchanged.

July 2016 to present

Yunnan construction investment second installation engineering company

April 21, 2016

Yunnan Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. was reorganized with the 14th Metallurgical Construction Group and southwest Communications Construction Group to establish Yunnan Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. on July 14 of the same year, the name of the company was changed to "Yunnan construction investment second installation engineering company".
In order to conscientiously implement the decision-making and deployment of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government on how to make a good breakthrough in the reform of state-owned enterprises, the implementation plan for the breakthrough in the reform of state-owned enterprises of the Group Co., Ltd. has been completed in an all-round way. With the overall requirements of improving and perfecting the modern enterprise system, the company has worked hard to promote all the work of deepening the reform of the company, so as to realize the sustainable, healthy and rapid development of the company. The company started restructuring in March 2018.
