Leadership Cadre Lecture Hall: Gan Yong Delivers a Thematic Party History Lecture

On the morning of June 4th, Gan Yong, member of the company's Party Committee and chairman of the labor union, delivered a special party history lesson entitled "Looking Back at a Century of Struggle and Gathering Strength for Development" to the first branch of the general office, the Comprehensive Service Center branch, and the Human Resources Department. More than 40 party members, active party members, and party applicants participated in the study.

Using the timeline from the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China to the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China as a framework, Gan Yong led everyone in reviewing the Party's 100-year struggle, explaining the purpose and significance of studying Party history. By reviewing important milestones and major historical events, he guided everyone to understand the Chinese Communist Party and the spiritual world of Chinese Communists.

During the lecture, Gan Yong focused on the Long March spirit, leading everyone to watch the red movie "Blood Battle of Xiangjiang." This allowed participants to immersively experience and learn about the selfless spirit of the 34th Division of the Fifth Red Army, who fought bravely and sacrificed themselves to protect the Central Red Army's crossing of the Xiangjiang River, shedding their last drop of blood for the Chinese Soviet Republic.

Gan Yong pointed out that the Party's 100-year history of struggle is a history of development from small to large, from weak to strong. The 100 years since the founding of the Chinese Communist Party is a century that fundamentally changed the suffering fate of the modern Chinese nation, a century in which the Chinese people rose to their feet, grew prosperous, and became strong, and a century that fundamentally determined the destiny of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Over the past 100 years, our Party, uniting and leading the people of all ethnic groups across the country in revolution, construction, and reform, has achieved remarkable achievements. It can be said that the Party's history has become a precious spiritual wealth for the entire Party and an important part of the history and culture of the Chinese nation.

Gan Yong emphasized that all Party members should further understand the power of thought and enhance their political consciousness in using the Party's innovative theories to arm the entire Party; further grasp the laws and trends of historical development, always maintaining the historical initiative in the development of the Party and state's cause; further deepen their understanding of the Party's nature and purpose, always maintaining the distinct characteristics of a Marxist political party; and further summarize the Party's historical experience and continuously improve their ability to cope with risks and challenges.
