The Eight Ministries held a mid-year management meeting in 2018

On the morning of June 23, the Eighth Engineering Project Department organized a 2018 mid-year management work meeting for the managers of various ongoing projects and heads of various departments. A leading member of the Eighth Engineering Department and the company's chief economist, Lv Chunping, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the managers of various ongoing projects reported on project control in the first half of the year, the income and expenditure situation before the Mid-Autumn Festival, and problems and difficulties encountered in project management. The department manager, members of the leadership team, and heads of various departments responded to the problems and difficulties raised by the project managers, jointly discussing solutions and work plans for the next step. Yan Xueguang, the department manager, made an overall deployment of the department's future work in four aspects: Firstly, project managers should learn from and draw on each other's strengths, making full use of various resources and strengthening the learning of successful management experiences; secondly, project managers should pay close attention to the collection and payment situation before the Mid-Autumn Festival and make advance preparations for the pre-festival work; thirdly, heads of various departments and project managers should unify their thinking and wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to the development of the department in terms of materials, quality technology, safety, contracts, and budgets.

In his concluding remarks, Lv Chunping, the company's chief economist, pointed out that the meeting's realistic discussion and exchange of learning on problems in project management are commendable, but the effectiveness of the meeting and the implementation of subsequent tasks should be emphasized. He urged all employees of the Eighth Engineering Department, under the leadership of the department's leadership team, to face development with unity and cooperation, and to establish a determination to overcome difficulties; to directly face the pressure of production and operation and project management work, lay a solid foundation for their performance, and contribute to the overall development of the department and the company.
