In order to actively respond to the "Life First, Safe Development" themed activities of the Safety Production Month and ensure the safe production of project construction, on June 26, the Seventh Engineering Project Department and the Yunnan JianTou Second Company jointly conducted a heatstroke emergency drill at the construction site of the Nanpan River Project in Qujing.
The drill was led by the project executive manager and project safety officer, with the participation of all project management personnel. Personnel from the municipal company and the client's command center also observed the entire process. During the drill, the project management team divided the rescue personnel into logistics support, medical rescue, safety security, accident rescue, follow-up processing, and accident investigation teams. Each team cooperated with each other, quickly assessing the condition of the heatstroke victim by questioning them, applying wind oil to the temples, loosening the victim's clothing and rolling up their sleeves, wiping the victim's face, arms, and palms with a cold towel, administering Huoxiang Zhengqi water to help them breathe easily, and finally providing cool, salty drinks and appropriate heatstroke medication. The heatstroke symptoms were significantly alleviated. After the rescue, the victim was removed from the scene, and the simulated drill was successfully completed.
Through the drill, construction workers gained a clearer understanding of the emergency rescue plan's procedures, ensuring orderly implementation in the event of a heatstroke emergency, saving valuable time, and achieving the drill's objectives.
