Month 7 Day
The project department organized all personnel to participate in the Lao Zhongdong Petrochemical Project Safety Month launch ceremony. The project department's safety director represented the construction unit in a speech and pledged on behalf of the project department to strictly follow the plan and earnestly carry out the Safety Month activities.

Month 11 Day
In the evening, the project department organized a safety warning education for all staff. Due to the involvement of Vietnamese and Laotian employees, there were some obstacles in language communication. The project department, based on the actual situation, collected and compiled various safety accident videos, and conducted warning education on various accidents, including lifting injuries, mechanical injuries, electric shock accidents, collapse accidents, object impact accidents, vehicle injury accidents, falls from heights, fire accidents, and other various comprehensive accidents. Accidents are more ferocious than tigers, mercilessly devouring human lives. The shocking scenes one after another made all participants more intuitively feel the dangers of violating regulations and operating procedures.

Month 15 Day
According to the arrangement of the project department's safety production month activity plan, the project department organized all employees to conduct lectures and drills on the safe operation procedures of welding machines, with a total of 98 people participating in this activity. The entire activity was organized by the project department's safety director. Two operators who frequently operate welding machines were selected from the team, one to explain the welding machine operation procedures, and the other to conduct practical drills according to the explanation steps. After the drill, the safety director summarized and repeated the key steps of the operation procedures, allowing the participants to have a deeper understanding of the welding machine operation procedures.

Month 15 Day
In the evening, the project department invited Yang Pengyong, the company's main person in charge, to conduct a "Safety Production Lecture Hall" activity in the form of a lecture. Yang, combining theory with practice, used historical stories, case studies, and fables to explain what safety is, who safety is for, how to conduct safety training, how to build team safety activities, and how to achieve safety behavior and safety awareness improvement, providing safety education and training to the project department participants.

Month 19 Day
In the morning, the project department organized all employees to conduct lectures and drills on the safe operation procedures of cutting machines. Due to the frequent operation of cutting machines at the gas cabinet processing site recently and the occasional occurrence of violations, the project department, based on the actual situation, conducted lectures and drills on the safe operation procedures of cutting machines. Through this drill, more operators became familiar with the safe operation procedures of cutting machines, avoiding violations.

Month 22 Day
The project department organized all personnel to conduct lectures and demonstrations on the wearing and maintenance of personal protective equipment. Special attention was paid to lectures and demonstrations on the correct wearing and fastening of safety belts during high-altitude operations.

Month 23 Day
The project department conducted an emergency drill for heatstroke. Laos has a tropical and subtropical monsoon climate, with high temperatures and humidity throughout the year. According to on-site measurements, the highest temperature at noon can reach 45 degrees Celsius or more. Workers are exposed to the sun for long periods, making them extremely susceptible to heatstroke. The project department therefore conducted an emergency drill for heatstroke, allowing each worker to fully grasp emergency knowledge so that if heatstroke occurs during construction, they can promptly carry out self-rescue and mutual rescue.

Month 26 Day
The project department conducted an emergency drill for falls from heights. Currently, the project department is installing a flare tower ( 80.5 meters), installing fire sprinkler pipes for storage tanks ( 19.8 meters), and processing storage tank welds, all of which involve high-altitude operations at considerable heights. To improve the ability to respond to safety accidents, verify the feasibility of the accident emergency plan, and test and improve the proficiency and practical skills of the project department's rescue team, an emergency drill for falls from heights was added. Through this drill, the project department's emergency response capabilities and practical emergency skills were improved to a certain extent.
The purpose of this series of Safety Month activities is to promote the implementation of various safety prevention measures, to use activities to promote work, and to achieve the goal of using the month to promote the year, further ensuring the safe production of the project department. Currently, the Lao Zhongdong Petrochemical Project Department's Safety Month activities have been successfully concluded, and the safety management work has been repeatedly praised by the owner.
