Handover and occupancy ceremony held for the Yongsheng County relocation project for poverty alleviation

Recently, the Liyuan Community project, a relocation site for poverty alleviation in Yongsheng County, successfully delivered its homes. Leaders from various relevant departments of the Group Corporation were invited to participate in the lottery and relocation ceremony. Cui Yongzhi, General Manager of the company, and Lü Chunping, Chief Economist, attended the ceremony as representatives of the participating units.

At the ceremony, Yang Xiaomin, Secretary of the Yongsheng County Committee, highly commended the Group's investment of manpower and material resources in the relocation project. He stated, “It is this iron army that has worked day and night, bringing joy to 620 impoverished households, allowing them to move into new homes on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and continue a better life,” and gave enthusiastic praise to the quality of the employees of the participating units who fear no hardship and overcome difficulties.

Afterwards, the leaders participated in a tree-planting activity, adding greenery to the new community, and the impoverished households participated in a lottery to move into their new homes.

It is understood that the Yongsheng County relocation site for poverty alleviation (Liyuan Community) is located next to the public rental housing on the west side of Yongsheng County. With an investment of 204 million yuan, 8 buildings with 661 new resettlement houses were built, with a total construction area of 54,500 square meters. The relocation involves 8 townships including Dongshan Township, Ludila Town, Chenghuai Town, and Yangping Township, with 620 households and 2,285 people moving into the new community, 90% of whom are Lisu people. Each household is provided with essential items such as wardrobes, cabinets, tables, and chairs in the resettlement housing.
