In Laos, the "Greater Snow" day was still scorching hot, making people sweat profusely. On this special day, the An'ersi Laos regional project department and Yunnan Haitou Company held a friendly basketball match.
The match between the two sides took place at 5:30 PM Beijing time at the basketball court in the living area of Laos Petroleum and Chemical Co., Ltd. Based on the principle of "friendship first, competition second," the aim was to enhance mutual understanding and communication, foster teamwork, improve the cohesion of the project department team, enrich extracurricular activities, and relieve work pressure.
At the start of the match, the Haitou team established a good start with a score of 4:0. However, our team immediately adjusted their defensive and offensive strategies, gradually catching up to 6:6, then overtaking and maintaining the lead. With 2 minutes left in the fourth quarter, the score was 30:34, with our team still leading by 4 points. Finally, the two sides ended in a 35:35 draw, and a 5-minute overtime was needed to determine the final score of 38:41. Haitou narrowly won!
This competition was organized by Shi Yanhua, chief economist of the First Engineering Project Department, and included members from the First, Third, and Fifth Project Departments and the company's refinery project command center. The company's general manager assistant and refinery project commander personally participated, leading the team to demonstrate a spirit of courage, unity, cooperation, and mutual assistance.
