After implementing measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic in strict accordance with the requirements of the company, the owner, and local authorities, the environmental protection project team of the Sixth Engineering Department of Jianglin Group promptly organized personnel to enter the construction site. To ensure the skill level of welders entering the site and to ensure high-quality welding construction, 2 month 26 day, the project department organized an entrance examination for welders with the guidance and support of the company's technology center.

The examination subjects were manual arc welding. The candidates were divided into two groups and conducted vertical welding of δ 12mm、Q235B steel plate specimens and φ 57、 20# steel pipe specimens 45 ° fixed angle welding. The examination was strictly conducted in accordance with the company's welding examination management regulations. The invigilation group supervised the examination seriously and earnestly, the candidates had a positive attitude, and after each group's examination, the examiners evaluated all the specimens and provided technical guidance to the participants. According to the evaluation of the welding specimens, all participants passed and were permitted to weld.

This project is part of Jianglin Group's end-of-production gas environmental protection treatment project. The main construction content includes 304 non-standard equipment manufacturing and installation, 304 coil pipe, Q235B spiral pipe, fixed-type equipment installation, and supporting instrumentation and electrical construction. The project has a tight schedule and a large amount of construction work. This welder entrance examination laid the foundation for the completion of 2# 、 3# 、 5# 、 6# furnace tail gas full recovery and smoke decolorization projects.
