The No. 1 Engineering Project Department, with the strong support of the company's technology center, successfully completed 20000m3 the top hoisting of the dry gas holder.
Safety technical briefing before hoisting
"All personnel ready, start lifting!" With the lifting instruction given by Liu Shijie, the company's chief technician from Yunling, the gas holder top began to slowly rise. 20000m3 The dry gas holder top is in the shape of a tangential spherical surface, with a chord length of the steel frame of 33.866 meters, an arch height of 3.5m , and an installation height of 28.5 meters around. The height of the top in the middle is 32.00 meters, with a total weight of 68 tons. Due to its heavy weight, large diameter, and high height, and the need to strictly control the deformation of the top cover, the project department considered using a non-conventional hoisting process for hoisting. There are 18 H steel columns evenly distributed around the outer periphery of the side wall. After the overall fabrication at a height of +4m on the gas holder's foundation surface, the gas holder's own 18 H steel columns evenly distributed around the outer periphery of the side wall. Sheaves were set up on the tops of 18 columns, and 18 lifting points were set on the edge of the top cover. This hoisting operation, after meticulous and thorough special plan planning and preparation, expert review, and careful on-site preparation, was successfully completed. The gas holder top is the most technically challenging and the last major hoisting task of the Laos refinery project. The successful hoisting marks the entry of the Laos-China Petrochemical Co., Ltd. project into the final stage.
