Completion Acceptance of the Relocation Project (Phase 1 & 2) for YiLiang County's Poverty Alleviation and Relocation in the Bagongbu Urban Settlement

6 Month 10 On the day of , the Yiliang County relocation poverty alleviation resettlement project (Phase I and II) jointly constructed by the Eight Construction Department successfully completed its completion acceptance, marking a significant victory in the fight against poverty!

Relocation poverty alleviation refers to relocating impoverished people living in areas lacking living conditions to other areas, and improving the production and living conditions in the resettlement areas, adjusting the economic structure, and expanding income channels to help relocated people gradually escape poverty and become wealthy. The Fajie resettlement site is located in the southern part of Yiliang County, within the Yiliang County Industrial Park area, near the County's Second People's Hospital, Zhao-Yi Highway, and Yi-Zhao Expressway. 7 kilometers from the county seat, 2460 mu of planned land, 21.93 billion yuan in total investment, 5850 households planned to be relocated and resettled, 26693 people. The construction of the resettlement site has provided safe and stable new housing for relocated households, with supporting buildings ranging from kindergartens to vocational high schools, as well as poverty alleviation workshops, providing not only new homes for registered poor households but also jobs and supporting facilities to adapt to new lives. The construction tasks undertaken by the Eight Construction Department involve 19 residential buildings and their associated substations, kindergartens, teaching and comprehensive buildings, and the indoor water and electricity installation projects of the canteen.

The Yiliang project department of the Eight Construction Department started on-site construction on 2018 year 6 Month 25 day. Since entering the site, all management personnel of the project department have worked together to seize construction time, accelerate progress, and overcome difficulties, maintaining a high sense of responsibility and execution. After the completion of the construction tasks, to ensure the normal water and electricity supply for the relocated residents, the project department also invested in water and electricity repair work, ensuring the basic life of the relocated residents. After two years of unremitting efforts, the resettlement site has finally been transformed from a barren wasteland into a brightly lit area.
