　　On November 10, the company held a special meeting on the disposal of scrap materials from ongoing projects. Cui Yongzhi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Manager; Yang Pengyong, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Manager; and Sun Jinyao, Member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee, attended the meeting, along with heads of departments such as the Equipment and Materials Department and the Finance Department, and major heads of various grassroots units.

　　At the meeting, the company's special inspection team for scrap materials reported on the overall situation of scrap material disposal in various grassroots units since 2020. The meeting also heard reports from various grassroots units on the disposal of scrap materials from ongoing projects, including existing problems and rectification measures. Heads of various functional departments made relevant requirements on the in-depth implementation of the company's regulations.

　　The meeting required: First, strengthen the publicity and implementation of the company's "Regulations on the Disposal of Scrap Materials," especially extending it to all frontline project departments. Second, raise awareness and change mindsets to dispose of scrap materials in accordance with laws and regulations. Scrap materials are state-owned assets; no unit, department, or individual has the right to dispose of them arbitrarily. Third, strengthen the awareness of control. The company will hold accountable those found to have disposed of scrap materials illegally during spot checks, according to relevant procedures.

　　Cui Yongzhi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Manager, emphasized: First, all units and departments should attach great importance to the disposal of scrap materials, but should distinguish between "scrap materials" and "old materials," strengthening the recycling of materials and saving production costs. Second, strengthen the awareness of rules and regulations, disposing of scrap materials legally and compliantly, preventing the risk of forming "small treasuries," improving the standardization of management, and ensuring the healthy and stable development of the company. Third, the disposal of scrap materials should be timely, handled batch by batch, meeting the requirements of civilized construction site management while preventing theft. Fourth, all grassroots units should strictly follow the requirements of the special work on scrap material disposal to conduct self-inspection and self-examination, seriously rectify the problems exposed, and treat this work as a normalized task.
