120-Day War | Power Supply Project for the Construction of the Highway from Zhenxiong to Guozhu Railway Station to Dawang Bay Successfully Commissioned

On November 17, the Zhenxiong to Guozhu Railway Station to Dawang Highway project's construction power project, undertaken by the Eighth Engineering Project Department, successfully passed the acceptance inspection of the Zhaotong Power Supply Bureau Dispatching Center after five impact tests and was officially put into operation.

The Zhenxiong to Guozhu Railway Station to Dawang Highway project has a total length of 69.628 kilometers, including a main line of 61.712 kilometers and connecting lines of approximately 7.916 kilometers. The company's contracted section is from K0+000 to K29+320, with a total of 29.32 kilometers of electromechanical installation engineering on the main line. This project is an important part of the provincial, municipal, and county road networks, connecting most townships within Zhenxiong County and serving as the county's main economic artery. The front section of the Zhen-Guo Highway forms a loop around Zhenxiong County, alleviating traffic congestion in the urban area and playing a crucial role in quickly diverting, transferring, and distributing urban traffic to surrounding road networks.

The project officially started on July 28, 2020. With the care and assistance of the company's leadership, the project department overcame numerous difficulties, including the adverse climate conditions in Zhenxiong County and obstacles in relocation work. After more than three months of hard work, at 7:30 PM on November 19, the newly built 35kV Wugu Substation and two 10kV dedicated lines (Zhenxiong County South Ring Road and North Ring Road) were successfully energized, and the handover to the civil construction unit began on November 20. The construction and operation of the temporary power project laid a solid foundation for the completion and opening to traffic of this project. The project department will continue to uphold the spirit of the plateau iron army, implement the relevant requirements of "Riding the Momentum and Fighting for 120 Days," and strive for the high-quality development of the company.
