On December 26, the main line toll stations from the main line toll station to Chongjianghe toll station, and from Longpan toll station to Baihanchang section of the Xiangli Expressway, constructed by the Third Construction Department, were successfully debugged and energized ahead of schedule.

The Xiangli Expressway project is a section of the Xining-Lijiang connecting line (G0613) of the Beijing-Tibet Expressway, which is part of the National Highway Network Planning (2013-2030) approved by the state. It is an important supporting project for the state's support for the economic and social development of the Tibetan areas, a pilot project of the Ministry of Transport on "green and low-carbon highways", the first expressway in Yunnan's Tibetan areas, the highest expressway in Yunnan, and the first expressway in Yunnan invested and constructed under the PPP model. The project has the characteristics and difficulties of "three highs" (high altitude -- 3280 meters, large elevation difference -- 1100 meters, high seismic intensity -- VIII), "two complexities" (complex terrain, complex geology), "one fragility" (fragile ecological environment), and "one arduousness" (extremely arduous engineering). After completion and opening to traffic, it will be of great significance to improve the national and Yunnan provincial expressway network, improve regional traffic travel conditions, strengthen the coordinated development of tourism resources in Northwest Yunnan, build the "Greater Shangri-La" tourism circle in Yunnan, Sichuan and Tibet, promote regional economic and social development, strengthen ethnic unity, and promote the high-quality leapfrog development and the simultaneous achievement of the goal of a moderately prosperous society in Yunnan's Tibetan areas. It is a road of unity, a road of sightseeing, a road of prosperity, a road of harmony, and a road of ecology.

After receiving the target task from the Xiangli Expressway Construction Command regarding the "opening to traffic of the main line toll station to Chongjianghe toll station and Longpan toll station to Baihanchang section on December 30", the project department immediately held a work deployment meeting. Following the group's management requirements of "four guarantees, one control, and one tree", the project strictly adhered to the node-based backward scheduling of the construction period, clarified the responsibilities, and carried out construction according to the daily backward scheduling plan, ultimately completing the node tasks ahead of schedule.
