On March 3, Luo Degang, director of the Luliang County People's Congress Standing Committee, and his entourage conducted a field research on the Mengniu (Xiaobaihu) pasture construction project of the Seventh Engineering Department. The project manager, on behalf of the construction unit and the construction unit, gave a detailed introduction to the project investment, construction progress, and economic benefits after the project's operation.

Luo Degang affirmed the achievements made by the entire project in terms of quality, safety, and progress. He emphasized that quality is the foundation, safety is the prerequisite, and while rushing to complete the project, safety and quality control must be ensured. He also hoped that all personnel of the project department would continue to work hard to ensure that the goal of bringing cattle into the pasture by the end of April is achieved.

The Mengniu (Xiaobaihu) pasture project undertaken by the Seventh Engineering Department covers an area of 509 mu, with a construction area of approximately 260,000 square meters and a contract price of 260 million yuan. The project includes living areas, cattle sheds, feed areas, internal and external roads, and a sewage treatment system. The scale of dairy cattle farming is 4,500 heads, with an average daily fresh milk production of 80 tons. After completion, it can increase employment by 100 people and radiate to help 2,000 surrounding farmers become prosperous. Currently, the project is under construction, including the comprehensive building, silage silo 2, hay shed 3, reserve cow shed 2, reserve cow shed 1, comprehensive cow shed, fire water pool, disinfection changing room, etc.
