On the afternoon of July 30th, the company held its fourth 2021 Party Committee Theoretical Learning Center Group meeting and the "What is my responsibility?" ideological discussion activity in Meeting Room 4 on the fifth floor. The meeting was chaired by Gu Yongmao, Party Secretary and Chairman of the company. 39 people attended, including members of the leadership team in Kunming, managers and secretaries of grassroots units, and heads of functional departments.

At the meeting, through a method of collective learning, members of the company's leadership team led everyone in studying the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party. They deeply understood the solemn declaration of the comprehensive completion of a moderately prosperous society, the glorious century and the great achievements written by the Chinese Communist Party, the great founding spirit of the Party, the nine aspects of requirements for learning from history and creating the future, and the call issued by General Secretary Xi Jinping to all Party members.

Lv Chunping, the company's chief economist, and Zhang Yuling, the chief financial officer, shared their learning experiences.

Focusing on the theme of the "What is my responsibility?" ideological discussion, the company's leadership team and expanded team members conducted enthusiastic discussions, combining their own work, Party history learning and education, Secretary Ruan Chengfa's "four correct understandings" and "three questions of life," and promoting the high-quality development of the company.

Gu Yongmao led the discussion on responsibilities. As the Party secretary and chairman, he needs to remember "one mission," focus on "two basic points," and strengthen "four consciousnesses." Remember the mission of "seeking happiness for employees and development for the enterprise." Focus on the two basic points of "Party building and the central tasks of the enterprise." Strengthen the four consciousnesses of "seizing the market, leading the team, strengthening management, and preventing risks" in enterprise construction.

Gu Yongmao stated clearly: "'One mission' is the goal of my work, 'two basic points' are the principles I must follow, and 'four consciousnesses' are the focus of my work. In the development of the company, we have indeed encountered various difficulties and problems, and at times of severe difficulty, we even faced bankruptcy. However, we have persevered and reached where we are today. I will definitely strive towards a 'state of tireless spirit and a courageous fighting posture,' leading the company's cadres and employees to contribute to the development of the enterprise and the happiness of the employees."

Cui Yongzhi mentioned: Since taking up leadership positions in the company, especially since becoming the general manager, I feel a heavy responsibility and glorious mission. I know that this job is a trust from the organization. Diligent performance of duties is not only for my own work but also for the healthy development of the No. 2 Installation Company, a state-owned enterprise with a 63-year history. Therefore, working wholeheartedly is not only responsible for myself but also for the enterprise and the 1246 employees of the company.

Xu Yanlu, the company's chief engineer, elaborated on his analysis and thoughts on responsibilities around the theme of "My work ends here." The company's employees are the main carriers of implementing company regulations and spreading positive energy. Everyone should be based on their own positions, ensuring that every task they handle is completed to a high standard in accordance with regulations and the company's development plan, resolutely achieving "no loose ends, no transferring problems to other process nodes or departments, and no passing problems upwards."

Li Huijun, the company's general manager assistant, production management department manager, and overseas department manager, shared his thoughts on responsibilities through a short poem:

Other members of the leadership team also shared their thoughts. In his summary, Gu Yongmao emphasized that the purpose of the "What is my responsibility?" ideological discussion activity is to further emancipate minds, build consensus, and educate and guide cadres and employees to enhance their sense of responsibility, mission, and responsibility. It aims to resolutely break down the ideas of fearing difficulties, being unwilling to make progress, being mediocre, fearing hardship and tiredness, and not daring to take responsibility. It is to unify the thoughts of cadres and employees with the various decisions and deployments of the group and the company's Party committee, and to unify them into actions of firm confidence and struggle. The members of the company's leadership team had an enthusiastic discussion on their own job responsibilities, but the depth and breadth of the discussion on responsibilities still need to be continuously expanded. This requires everyone to constantly examine themselves in their future work and life.

Based on the "What is my responsibility?" ideological discussion activity, Gu Yongmao put forward several requirements for the participants:

First, establish the awareness that the post is the responsibility, and the responsibility is heavier than Mount Tai. Leadership is a position, but also a responsibility. As leading cadres, they should always keep their positions in mind and their responsibilities on their shoulders. Being in their position, seeking their political affairs, and fulfilling their responsibilities are the most basic requirements for leading cadres. Our leading cadres must have a strong sense of responsibility, clearly understand their job responsibilities, faithfully fulfill their duties, and work diligently and conscientiously.

Second, focus on the main responsibilities and main businesses, and act according to roles. Every leading cadre will experience different work positions, and different work will have specific functions and responsibilities. Learning to adapt to different work positions, understanding the functions and responsibilities of each position, mastering the laws and characteristics of each task, and clarifying the boundaries of each business are the prerequisites and basis for leading cadres to do their work well. Our leading cadres should focus on the center, serve the overall situation, find their main responsibilities and main businesses and the focus of their work, and plan and think in the overall work and central work to promote work.

Third, focus on problems, dare to break and dare to establish. Our leading cadres should adhere to a problem-oriented approach, dare to break through obstacles, break down the concept of complacency, and establish a sense of responsibility for striving to make achievements; break down the concept of being timid and hesitant, and establish a practical consciousness of daring to try and dare to make mistakes; break down the concept of following the old ways, and establish a reform consciousness of daring to be the first, using ideological emancipation to promote the great development of the company.

Fourth, dare to take responsibility and work diligently and practically. Our leading cadres should focus on the strategic overall situation of the company's high-quality development, overcome difficulties, face problems directly, go deep among cadres and employees, and to the production front line, come up with practical measures, solve real difficulties, and put work into practice, working tirelessly to continuously promote the high-quality development of the company and enhance the happiness and sense of gain of employees and the masses.
