On the afternoon of October 22, the company held its seventh Party Committee theoretical study center group learning meeting of 2021. More than 30 people attended the meeting, including members of the company's leadership team, managers and secretaries of various grassroots units, heads of various functional departments, and young reserve talents from the 2020 batch. Gu Yongmao, Party Secretary and Chairman of the company, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.

This study focused on General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on: adhering to the new development stage, implementing the new development concept, and building a new development paradigm; on carrying forward the spirit of struggle and preventing and addressing risks and challenges; on poverty alleviation and rural revitalization; on ideological and political work; on Xi Jinping's Thought on the Rule of Law; and on Xi Jinping's Thought on Ecological Civilization.

Gu Yongmao pointed out that General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of expositions are far-reaching and profound, systematically answering the questions of Chinese socialism with distinctive features in the new era, pointing the way for the Party and the country. They are the fundamental principles for the company to carry out all its work. All cadres and employees of the company should study them seriously and transform the learning outcomes into a powerful driving force to promote the implementation of various goals and tasks of the company's 14th Five-Year Plan.

Combining the company's actual situation, Gu Yongmao required:

First, we must raise our political standing and continue to study General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important speeches in depth. Only by standing at a political height can we have a more thorough understanding of the Party Central Committee's major policies and decisions and deployments, and our work will be more forward-looking and proactive. Leading cadres at all levels of the company must grasp the important connotations and practical requirements of General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of expositions, enhance the "four consciousnesses," strengthen the "four confidences," and achieve "two safeguards," promoting the implementation of various requirements in the company.

Second, we must adhere to the bottom-line thinking, enhance the sense of urgency, and focus on preventing and resolving major risks. Affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, the construction industry faces many challenges. All departments and units of the company must always regard ensuring safety and preventing and resolving major risks as the top priority of all work. Leading cadres at all levels must take the lead in going to the front line and mastering the situation, discovering problems early, and ensuring that problems are resolved effectively. We must strengthen the quality improvement of managers at all levels, allowing managers to improve their professional quality and ability to manage complex and safe situations and resolve major risks in practice. We must improve the management of rules and regulations, focusing on key links and paying attention to process control.

Third, we must carry forward the spirit of struggle and complete the annual business task goals with high quality. The process of development is always accompanied by contradictions, problems, and risks and challenges. Cadres and employees of the company must dare to carry forward the spirit of struggle and face difficulties and challenges head-on.
