On November 2, Yan Xueguang, member of the company's Party committee and deputy general manager, went to the company's Twelfth Engineering Project Department and Eleventh Directly Managed Project Department to inspect and guide the work of the comprehensive pipe gallery iron-making general contracting project of the environmental relocation and transformation and upgrading project of Kunming Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Wuhan Iron and Steel Group, which implements the supply-side structural reform.

The project is a procurement and construction general contracting (PC). It is the civil and installation engineering of the energy medium facilities of the public auxiliary system of the entire plant in the iron and steel post-processing area, covering gas, heat, and water pipe networks and facilities, and cable tray installation (including high-voltage, low-voltage cable trays, cable trenches, cable conduits for operating valves and lighting in the pipe gallery), except for the laying of 110kV, 35kV, and 10kV cables. It involves various disciplines such as civil engineering, steel structure, piping, electrical, and instrumentation. The construction sites are scattered, with many high-altitude and hoisting operations.
At the site, Yan Xueguang checked the project's safety management work and construction progress, and put forward four requirements based on the project's actual situation:
First, attach great importance to safety management work and always keep safety in mind. The project team should always pay attention to safety work, further strengthen the safety education of project management personnel and construction team personnel, clarify the safety responsibilities of each position, and ensure that safety work is done well and thoroughly.
Second, improve team cohesion and execution to ensure project milestones. The two participating units of the company should give full play to the team spirit, communicate and exchange information in a timely manner on problems and situations encountered in the construction process, focus on the project's objectives and tasks, refine the division of responsibilities, strengthen the implementation of responsibilities, and ensure the project's progress.
Third, attach importance to project quality control and establish a good brand image for the company. The project team should strictly follow the construction design requirements, reasonably arrange construction resources, strictly control each construction link, efficiently promote project construction, and establish a good corporate brand for the company.
Fourth, continue to do a good job in the project's epidemic prevention and control management work. Currently, the domestic epidemic situation has rebounded in some areas. The project department should strengthen epidemic prevention and control management, ensure personnel safety, and ensure the orderly progress of project production.
