On November 18, the Party branch of the company's 12th engineering project department organized party members, league members, and Kunming employees to visit the former residence of Nie Er, the people's musician, in Kunming, tracing back to the red memory, drawing on the strength of faith, and inheriting the red gene.

Nie Er's former residence is located at Yongdao Street, Kunming. Nos. 73 and 74. In 1905, Nie Er's father, Dr. Nie Hongyi, moved his family from Yuxi to Kunming to practice medicine. He rented a shop at No. 72 Yongdao Street, operating a pharmacy called "Chengchun Hall," and shared a residence at Nos. 73 and 74 with others. In 1912, the great people's musician Nie Er was born; the second floor of the current Nie Er Former Residence Museum is his birthplace. He grew up in Kunming until July 1930, when he left Kunming for Shanghai and never returned to his hometown. This was Nie Er's "first home" in his life.
In the museum, everyone visited precious historical materials and pictures from different periods of Nie Er's life, as well as documentaries and musical works related to Nie Er. They learned about Nie Er's life and truly felt his love for the motherland, the people, and the Party. This provided everyone with a profound patriotic education.
