Safety Production: Company conducts emergency drills for production safety accidents

On the afternoon of June 29th, the company conducted a 2022 production safety accident emergency rescue drill at the Wangjiaqiao base of the metal structure processing center. 85 company leaders, members of the leadership team, and grassroots unit cadres and employees participated in this event.

This comprehensive drill established an accident emergency command center and clarified the responsibilities of the accident emergency team. First, Commander Liang Tao gave a mobilization speech. Then, following the procedures of accident discovery and reporting, emergency command and coordination, on-site rescue and evacuation, a real-life, practical drill combining on-site and real-person simulations was conducted for electric shock accidents and lifting machinery injury accidents. Cause analysis and experience sharing were conducted for both emergency drills.

Subsequently, relevant personnel provided on-site explanations and demonstrations on the correct wearing and use of safety belts, safety helmets, and positive-pressure respirators, emergency knowledge, emergency rescue, precautions for the installation and use of gantry cranes, and the preparation of plans.

This drill was combined with the company's safety production month “Comply with the Safety Production Law, be the first person in charge” theme, fully implementing the principle of “giving equal weight to prevention and emergency response”. It was a test of the company's accident emergency system, further improving the emergency plan to cover all aspects of accident emergency rescue and disposal, detailing preventive measures for emergencies, enhancing the safety awareness of cadres and employees, improving their ability to resist and respond to emergencies, and mastering the basic methods of rapid escape, self-rescue, and mutual rescue in danger. The drill achieved its expected goals.

Finally, the company's safety director made a safety commitment and summarized the emergency drill. First, all cadres and employees should further implement relevant laws, regulations, and requirements of the new "Safety Production Law"; second, firmly uphold the first line of defense in safety production, fulfill their responsibilities for safety production, and be the first person in charge of their own posts; third, enhance understanding, strengthen the learning of relevant knowledge on safety production, strengthen the awareness of safety responsibility, and focus on solving prominent problems in safety production.
