Building a 'firewall' for fire safety | The Tibet Julong project department conducts fire safety drills

11 September is Fire Safety Publicity Month. To popularize fire safety knowledge and further enhance the fire safety awareness and self-rescue abilities of cadres and employees, the Tibet Julong Project Department recently launched a fire safety publicity month activity themed "Prevention First, Life Supreme."

"Everyone, don't panic, cover your mouth and nose, and evacuate orderly through the emergency fire safety passage." With the sounding of the whistle, the fire safety drill officially began. The drill simulated a fire in the corridor, instantly filling the scene with smoke. Under the guidance of the evacuation personnel, the trainees evacuated quickly and orderly from the fire safety passage to the designated safe area, following the evacuation signs.

"When using a fire extinguisher, aim at the base of the flames and spray. This way, you can control and extinguish the fire in a short time..." At the event site, the project's safety manager explained the correct use of fire-fighting equipment and had the trainees take turns practicing to ensure everyone mastered the operating procedures.

This fire drill effectively strengthened the project department's employees' fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities in case of sudden fires, enabling employees to remain calm, composed, and orderly in the event of a fire accident, laying a solid foundation for the project's safe production and peace building.

Next, the Tibet Julong Project Department will continue to organize fire safety drills in batches for various work areas, conduct regular fire safety supervision and inspection work, promptly identify fire safety hazards and require timely rectification, and effectively build a "fire prevention wall" for the project department.
