The 28MW steam turbine of the Yukun Iron and Steel Power Generation Project of the Second Engineering Project Department successfully completed its first test run.

At the beginning of the new year, the YuKun Steel Power Generation project sounded the "charge" and ushered in a "new wave" of practical work, achieving a successful start to the project construction. At 4:30 am on January 27, the 28MW steam turbine of the YuKun project successfully completed its first test run and generated electricity smoothly.

To ensure the smooth progress of this work, the project team carefully organized and coordinated all the preparations before the first start-up. During the test run, relevant departments and personnel cooperated closely, steadily advancing the confirmation of site conditions and equipment status checks. The start-up officially began at 1:40 am on January 27. After all parameters met the requirements for the start-up, the start-up began, and the steam turbine reached the rated speed of 3000 r/min and successfully stabilized. Subsequently, a series of tests were carried out, including valve tightness tests, OPC tests, DEH overspeed tests, and TSI overspeed tests. Finally, all indicators met the standard requirements, and the test run was successfully completed, and power generation was achieved smoothly.

Next, all cadres and employees of the project department will work together to put the dedication spirit of "not delaying a single day, not slacking off a single day" into action, continue to overcome difficulties, ensure the smooth completion of the goal of power generation before the end of the year for the waste heat unit, and deliver a satisfactory answer to the owner.
