Manager of the Tenth Engineering Project Department

It is a great honor to be able to exchange and speak as a representative of the advanced collective. In 2023, under the correct leadership of the company's Party committee, the strong support of leaders and departments at all levels, and the joint efforts of all employees of the engineering department, the Tenth Engineering Project Department has achieved significant growth in various indicators compared to the previous year. Various project production and operation work has been carried out in an orderly manner, and employee welfare benefits have been significantly improved. Here, I would like to thank the leaders at all levels of the company and colleagues for their support and recognition of the work of the engineering department. Next, I will share with you the experience we have gained in the past year and our work plan for 2024.

First, in terms of operation. In accordance with the company's regional operating division requirements, the Tenth Engineering Department firmly established the concept of "promoting operation through production" and "the site is the market." After undertaking the Qujing Liangjiangkou Sewage Treatment Plant and Qujing Medical Center projects, by focusing on the construction of existing projects, we have gained the recognition of the owners through practical actions, and using these two projects as a starting point, we have successively undertaken projects worth approximately 200 million yuan. In the new year, the department will continue to enhance the operational awareness of all employees, increase the efforts to promote operations through production, give full play to the wolfish spirit, act quickly, continuously explore new markets, and strive to achieve new breakthroughs in operations.

Second, in terms of production and talent team building. Through the hard work and dedication of all employees of the department, all projects under construction in 2023 have progressed smoothly without any quality or safety accidents. In addition, we deeply realize that "people" are the core element of development and the most basic guarantee for "detailed and meticulous" project management and "efficiency improvement." In the new year, the Tenth Engineering Department will continue to strengthen talent cultivation, with the leadership team taking the lead, leading by example, remaining humble, and introspecting, urging all employees of the department to learn and improve together, striving to achieve significant improvements in professional skills, project management, external communication and coordination, interpersonal skills, team cohesion, and work execution.

Third, in terms of project collection and employee income. With the support and guidance of leaders at all levels of the company and the joint efforts of various project management departments, the collection of various projects in the Tenth Engineering Department in 2023 progressed well, and the debt reduction targets set by the company were achieved. During the project implementation, we strictly followed the contract to fully promote project construction and paid attention to effective communication with the general contractor and the client to solve problems in a timely manner. In particular, for the Qujing Medical Center and Liangjiangkou Sewage Treatment Plant projects, we achieved "advance payment and payment exceeding output value," ensuring the payment of downstream projects and employee wages. In the post-epidemic era, the Tenth Engineering Department followed the company's development pace, went against the trend, and employee wages increased significantly, with a noticeable improvement in quality of life and happiness index. "Happy JianTou" is not just a slogan. In the new year, the department will focus on employee wage payments, living expenses reimbursement, and various welfare benefits to effectively improve employee happiness and sense of belonging, further stimulating the enthusiasm of cadres and employees to work and start businesses.

Fourth, in terms of project cost control. In 2023, the scale of projects undertaken by the Tenth Engineering Department increased significantly. In the new year, the engineering department will strictly control the project acceptance, project cost planning, downstream bidding planning, and process cost control stages in accordance with the company's three-level cost control measures, and earnestly implement the company's on-site visa management measures to ensure monthly settlement. We will hold monthly cost control analysis meetings for various projects under construction to provide timely assistance and solve existing cost control problems; fully explore and develop downstream customers to allow more high-quality customers to participate in bidding competition, achieving "real bidding, bidding for real projects"; strengthen cost control training for all employees to achieve full coverage of education and training, and effectively improve the cost control awareness of all employees.

Fifth, in terms of integrating Party building work into central work. Over the past year, the department has promptly organized cadres and employees to study and disseminate the important decisions and deployments of the group company, paying attention to Party style and clean government construction, ensuring the ideological and integrity aspects for the development of the department. Throughout the year, various branch activities with rich content were carried out, combining Party building with group and league construction, holding more than 10 activities such as the "Party, Trade Union, and Youth League in My Heart" knowledge contest, red film viewing, basketball friendly matches, and collective employee birthday parties, fully mobilizing everyone's enthusiasm and enhancing team cohesion and centripetal force, achieving the goal of uniting people and promoting development through activities; carrying out joint Party building and learning activities with general contractors and cooperating units, laying the foundation for friendly cooperation and sustainable operation. At the same time, members of the leadership team went deep into the project front line, having heart-to-heart talks with employees one-on-one, effectively grasping the ideological dynamics of employees, and maintaining the stability of the workforce. In 2024, we will continue to deepen the learning effect, continuously strengthen the correct guidance of employees' thoughts, and actively promote the deep integration of Party building work and production and operation.

The road ahead is long, and only struggle will lead to success. In the new year, we face greater challenges, but we firmly believe that under the strong leadership of the company's Party committee and with the unity, hard work, and all-out efforts of all employees, we will surely be able to complete various target tasks and help the company's high-quality development based on internal strength reach a new level.
