On April 29, the second engineering project department of the company successfully completed the cross-factory dismantling, transportation, and precise hoisting of the second refurbished anode furnace for the Chuxiong Dianzhong Pyrometallurgical System project.

The rotary anode furnace hoisted this time is large in size, with specifications of 660 tons, a single-piece hoisting weight of 136.8 tons, a length of 12 meters, and a cylinder diameter of 5.6 meters. The workshop space at the work site is limited, with insufficient net width and net height, and a relatively fragile load-bearing structure. Protective demolition work is also complex, presenting multiple challenges to construction.

Faced with the difficulties and high operational risks of the construction, the project team rose to the challenge, scientifically formulated a special plan, and used "real-time monitoring with a total station" technology, combined with a 650-ton truck crane, to precisely implement protective demolition operations. During the equipment transportation phase, the project team innovatively used a "self-propelled hydraulic flatbed car group" for transportation, effectively improving the stability and accuracy of transportation. To minimize external interference, transportation was arranged during the low-traffic hours in the early morning, with police escort throughout the process, and real-time monitoring of the top clearance in key tunnels, with the minimum clearance being only 8 centimeters. After 48 continuous hours of hard work, the equipment successfully completed a 140-kilometer "precision transportation", achieving "zero bumps and zero delays" throughout the process.

The new installation site is also located in a workshop with limited space, which places extremely high demands on installation accuracy. The project team used "dual-machine lifting and transportation + 700-ton independent hoisting" technology. Under the critical load state of the lifting equipment, through precise coordination and skillful operation, the equipment was precisely hoisted into place, with an installation verticality deviation of less than 1/1000, far exceeding industry standards. The entire installation process was carried out under the on-site supervision of multiple departments of the company, with a simultaneous emergency support system in place to ensure the safety, controllability, and smooth connection of the operation.

The dismantling, transportation, and hoisting of the refurbished anode furnace were all independently completed by the employee team of the Second Engineering Project Department. This is both a full test of the team's professional technical capabilities and a successful practical breakthrough for the company in the field of ultra-high-risk and large-scale projects.
