He has a calm personality, and no matter what difficulties he faces, he always adheres to his passion for work and the excellent qualities of Er'an people who dare to take responsibility and shoulder heavy burdens. He leads the project team to take the initiative and forge ahead, successfully completing various construction tasks. He is Lei Yundong, the project manager of the Tenth Engineering Project Department.

Taking Root in the Project, Rapid Growth

2020 In the year, with dreams in his heart, Lei Yundong, a recent university graduate, joined the project frontline, working as a budgeter at the Jinggu Paper Mill project. Facing unfamiliar work, he maintained a studious and humble attitude, constantly seeking guidance from experienced workers and diligently learning budget management knowledge. He learned by doing, frequently immersing himself in the field to familiarize himself with materials and equipment, and using his spare time to study company regulations, combining theory with practice to deepen his understanding of his work and continuously improve his abilities and professional skills, allowing himself to grow rapidly. He repeatedly studied and asked questions about his weaknesses until he mastered them. Through persistent efforts, he quickly transformed from an "outsider" in the budget field into a capable "insider".

However, his pursuit did not stop there. He knew that on the vast stage of project management, only continuous learning and self-challenge could achieve greater value. Therefore, when the project department was short-staffed, he volunteered to take on multiple roles, including safety officer, quality inspector, and real-name registration manager. In each position, he dedicated himself with the same enthusiasm and focus, practically interpreting the profound meaning of "versatility".

Over time, Lei Yundong gradually stood out among his peers. He participated in the construction of multiple projects, accumulating valuable practical experience and professional knowledge, quickly growing into a project manager.

During the peak period of the Jinggu Paper Mill overhaul project, Lei Yundong worked diligently and strived for excellence. He understood the importance of equipment overhaul for production line operation. Faced with numerous difficulties and challenges, he did not back down but actively communicated with the construction unit and the supervision unit to find the best solutions. He worked overtime with the project management personnel, tightening bolts, pulling hoists... working day and night on the construction site, ultimately completing the equipment overhaul on time and ensuring the smooth progress of the project.

Diligent and Responsible, Taking on Responsibilities

In the four years since joining the company, Lei Yundong has always maintained his passion for work, fearlessly shouldering heavy responsibilities and working with his colleagues to accomplish the tasks and missions entrusted by the company.

2021 In July of the year, the Menglian border epidemic prevention and control situation became critical, and the company received an urgent task to build a border centralized isolation and placement point. Upon receiving the notice, he did not hesitate, quickly completing his work handover and resolutely rushing to the front line to support the border epidemic prevention and control project.

At the construction site of the isolation and placement point, he led by example, organizing the installation of water heaters during the day to ensure the basic living needs of the isolated personnel. As night fell, he transformed into a "traffic controller," directing concrete trucks to enter the site in an orderly manner to ensure that the construction progress was not affected. Whether it was scorching sun or heavy rain, he remained at his post, sharing the joys and hardships with the workers, fighting together for more than 20 days and nights. Despite this, he never complained but meticulously controlled every aspect of the on-site construction, ensuring quality and safety, ultimately successfully completing this arduous task and making a significant contribution to border epidemic prevention and control.

Dedicated to Work, Leading by Example

In this challenging and demanding field of the construction industry, he is like an unyielding warrior, working through the changing seasons and weather, dedicating himself to the construction frontline with passion, nurturing each project with sweat, and interpreting his love and loyalty to his profession with his actions.

As a project manager, he understands that his role is not only that of a manager but also the soul and benchmark of the team. Therefore, he always adheres to his work principles, leading by example. As soon as he arrives at the project site, he is like a well-oiled machine, busy from morning till night. During the day, he manages the site, ensuring that it is orderly and efficient; in the evening, he studies company documents and construction standards and checks the submission of various work reports.

For him, pressure is motivation. Faced with difficulties, he rises to the challenge. During the construction of the Qujing Medical Center signage project, the high installation location of some high-rise building signs and the lack of crane parking space on the site created significant obstacles to the project's progress. He coordinated various issues during the day and discussed construction plans with the project personnel at night to find solutions. Finally, they decided to introduce a single-person electric hoisting basket installation plan, which not only cleverly solved the installation problem but also greatly improved work efficiency and ensured construction safety. This innovative measure not only won high praise from the owner but also accumulated valuable experience and technical reserves for similar projects in the future.

Solid Learning, Striving for Certification

During his years of dedicated work on the project frontline, Lei Yundong not only honed his skills but also deeply understood the power of knowledge, which further ignited his strong desire for self-improvement. Therefore, in his first year of employment, he began preparing for various exams.

During the exam preparation period, he would make a study plan. In his dormitory, his desk and bedside were filled with study materials. Opening any book, you could see dense annotations and folded pages. He devoted almost all his free time to review and prepare for the exams, reading books one by one and doing practice questions one by one. This unwavering determination not only made him the "certification expert" among his colleagues but also became an excellent example that encouraged others to move forward.

His list of achievements continues to grow. Currently, he has obtained certificates such as Safety Officer C Certificate, Junior Economist, Second-Level Construction Engineer, Supervisory Engineer, and Assistant Engineer, but he remains undeterred and continues to prepare for more exams.
