Experiences and Reflections on the "Retracing the Red Path, Feeling the Power of the Revolution" Activity (Part 3)

4 On July 24th, the company's Party committee organized an activity themed "Retracing the Red Path, Understanding the Power of Revolution." Starting from Cuihu Lake, the event divided participants into three groups to visit the former site of the Yunnan underground Communist Party, the Yunnan Army Lecture Hall, and the Southwest Associated University Museum. After the visits, everyone shared their thoughts and feelings about the activity.

Entering Jiexiao Lane and walking along the stone road, the common sight of courtyard houses with blue tiles and white walls came into view. This is the former site of the Yunnan underground Communist Party.

1926 November 7th, marks the 9th anniversary of the October Socialist Revolution in Russia. On this significant day, following instructions from the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Chen Yannian, the decision was made to establish the Yunnan Special Branch of the Communist Party of China, with Wu Cheng serving as the branch secretary. The establishment of the Yunnan Special Branch, the first local organization of the Communist Party of China in Yunnan, marked the beginning of a new journey for the people of all ethnic groups in Yunnan under the leadership of the Communist Party of China. The revolutionary spark spread across the land of Yunnan like wildfire, and in the magnificent revolutionary struggle, revolutionary pioneers sacrificed their lives for the sake of Yunnan, nurturing precious red genes.

It was the blood of these martyrs that bought us the good life we enjoy today. Looking back at the past is to better move forward. Coming here, one can almost see Li Xin, originally a scholar, transforming himself into a weather-beaten miner struggling under harsh conditions for the revolution, remaining unyielding even after arrest, denouncing the crimes of the Kuomintang reactionaries, and promoting the Communist Party's ideals; one can also see Wu Cheng, who, even when imprisoned and subjected to torture, fearlessly declared, "A revolutionary must have the spirit of self-sacrifice to dare to revolution." Although these revolutionary martyrs have disappeared into the currents of history, the lofty ideals of communism, the firm belief in serving the people, and the fearless and heroic revolutionary spirit will, with the passage of time, inspire generations of Communist Party members.

On a sunny afternoon, we entered the Southwest Associated University Museum, embarking on an unforgettable journey of exploration.

The Southwest Associated University, a monument to higher education in China during the War of Resistance Against Japan, its history is not only an academic history, but also a history of national struggle filled with hardship and glory. In the museum, I saw many precious materials about the Southwest Associated University, such as teaching plans, textbooks, and photos of teachers and students, all revealing the yearning for knowledge and loyalty to the country of the teachers and students of the Associated University during that special period.

During the visit, I was deeply attracted by the "Centennial Anniversary" theme displayed in the museum. Those old photos and objects all witnessed the difficulties of the Southwest Associated University from its establishment to its development. Looking at those yellowed photos, I seemed to hear the students' reading aloud, and I could feel their love for knowledge and their sense of responsibility to the country. Their stories are awe-inspiring.

Visiting the Southwest Associated University Museum gave me a clearer understanding and plan for my work and life. First, I must strengthen my beliefs, maintain my love and pursuit of my career, and continuously improve my professional skills. Second, I must cultivate an unyielding spirit, bravely face and solve difficulties and challenges in my work, and never give up easily. Finally, I must shoulder my responsibilities and contribute my wisdom and strength to the development of society and the company.

The former site of the Yunnan underground Communist Party records important content of Yunnan's red history and culture. This is where the first branch of the party in Yunnan was established. Here, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the people of Yunnan embarked on the great journey to realize the lofty ideal of communism.

The museum's layout immersed me in the arduous journey of the Communist Party of China, from its weakness to its strength, from its near-death experiences to its prosperity. I received a spiritual baptism and a shock to my soul. Through the visit, I have a deeper understanding of the spirit of the founding of the party. The great spirit of the founding of the party is the source of the spirit of the Communist Party of China, and it will inspire generations of Chinese youth to integrate their youthful struggles into the cause of the party and the people, becoming a strong force for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

After learning about the deeds of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the revolution, I deeply understand that every young person should understand the mission bestowed upon us by the times, earnestly learn from the spirit of the older generation of revolutionaries, and cherish the hard-won happiness of today.

History is the best textbook. We must learn from history to understand reason, enhance faith, cultivate morality, and strengthen practice, inheriting the spirit of revolutionary ancestors, strengthening our ideals and beliefs, and strengthening our original mission. In future work, we must remain true to our original aspirations, focus on our posts, promote learning and application, further strengthen our Party spirit, strive at the forefront, contribute our efforts to the interests of the people and the construction of the motherland, and strive tirelessly in the relay race to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
