Shen Jiawen inspected and guided the emergency water replenishment project at Chenghai in Yongsheng County, Liugongbu.

On May 12, Shen Jiawen, chief engineer of the group company, led a research team to the No. 6 project department of the company to inspect and guide the work of the first section of the Yongsheng County Chenghai River Basin ecological comprehensive governance water conservancy emergency water supply project.

Shen Jiawen and his team focused their investigation on the Chenghai emergency water supply project's primary pontoon pump station. They listened to the project manager's report on the project, including the hull specifications and structure of the primary floating pump station, the working principle of the universal rotary joint and water conveying swing arm, the anchoring slope treatment, and the operating parameters of the pump unit equipment. They also discussed with the on-site technical personnel the technical features, construction difficulties, scientific and technological innovation projects, and operation of the pontoon pump station. He fully affirmed the company's high-quality progress in the installation of the water source pontoon pump station for the Chenghai emergency water supply project and praised the company for accumulating rich experience in the application of integrated pontoon pump stations in long-distance water diversion water conservancy projects, providing a high-quality case for similar projects of the group company in the future.

As the water intake point of the Chenghai emergency water supply project, the primary pontoon pump station has been operating well since its official commissioning on September 24, 2020. The hull structure, universal rotary joint, water conveying swing arm, unit equipment, and electrical automation control system are all functioning properly. By continuously supplying high-quality water from the Jinsha River to Lake Chenghai, it has successfully curbed the downward trend of the lake's water level, laying a solid foundation for the further governance of Lake Chenghai.
