The installation of the hydrocracking and sulfur recovery units of the Laos refinery project, undertaken by the Fifth Construction Department, began 1 month 4 day 14 hour 30 minute, starting with the hoisting of the largest single piece of equipment— 237t the hydrocracker. Following the command from project commander Li Huijun, the hydrocracker hoisting officially commenced. First, a static load test was performed on 237t the hydrocracker, after which it was lifted to the designated height. After 1 hours of intense work, 237t the hydrocracker was successfully hoisted into place, successfully completing the hoisting task. The entire hoisting work was clearly divided, precisely controlled, and highly efficient.

This time 600 ton truck crane was used as the main hoist, 450 ton truck crane was used for tailing, a dual-crane hoisting operation. This is also the largest single piece of equipment hoisted by the company since 50 the 10,000-ton synthetic ammonia large equipment hoisting 18 years ago, once again demonstrating the company's technological advantages in industrial installation and the hard work and meticulous work spirit of the plateau iron army in overseas projects.
