At the meeting, the company's safety director used PPT software to present the 3.21 especially serious accident at Xiangshui Chemical Plant in Jiangsu, the 3.22 bus fire accident in Changsha, Hunan, and the 3.21 scaffolding collapse accident in Yangzhou, Jiangsu, giving everyone a vivid safety warning education class. At the same time, the safety director deeply analyzed the causes of the crane overturn accident at the Zhaotong Hydropower Aluminum project and gave a detailed explanation and analysis of the safety management work of hoisting and lifting operations. He urged the participants to learn from the lessons of the accidents, promote the company's safety production, and build a solid safety dam.
In his speech, Cui Yongzhi, general manager of the company, required: 1. All projects must firmly establish the guiding ideology of "safety first" and strengthen the learning and application of new technologies, new professions, and new equipment; 2. All projects should earnestly carry out the "five countermeasures and one strengthening" activities, strengthen the on-site safety management of large-scale operations such as hoisting and lifting, and ensure that safety work is done meticulously and comprehensively; 3. Pre-shift meetings must be held consistently, effectively, and purposefully; 4. Project departments should organize a safety study every week, summarize and conclude the problems that have arisen, carefully investigate and eliminate safety hazards, and prevent safety accidents; 5. Project management personnel should earnestly fulfill their safety responsibilities, keep an eye on the site and safety, and ensure safe production; 6. The deputy production managers, technical directors, and safety directors of each department should bring the spirit of the meeting back to their respective departments and promptly disseminate it to various projects.
