The water source protection project in Yongsheng County of the Six Ministries has achieved its water supply target

Recently, the Yongsheng County centralized drinking water source protection project, undertaken by the Sixth Construction Department, 50 After days of hard work by all employees, the pipeline connection and water testing were completed, winning the first battle in the Yongsheng County ecological restoration and livelihood project, and receiving high recognition and praise from the Yongsheng County People's Government, the County Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, and the County Environmental Protection Bureau.

The project is divided into main pipe installation, branch pipe installation, and installation of decentralized integrated sewage treatment equipment in the first-level water source protection area. The main pipe is constructed using both gravity flow and pressurized diversion principles according to the on-site terrain. The gravity flow section mainly uses DN300 reinforced polypropylene double-wall corrugated pipes, and some sections use DN200 steel-plastic composite pipes; the pressure diversion section is mainly pressurized by 4 a new type of integrated prefabricated fiberglass prefabricated pump station, and connected through DN160 steel wire mesh skeleton polyethylene composite pipes. The main pipe is laid from Yangping Yi Autonomous Township along the Yongyang Highway to Yongsheng County, connecting to the county's sewage pipe network, with a total length of 12.5km ; branch pipes are all constructed using the principle of gravity flow, using DN200 reinforced polypropylene double-wall corrugated pipes, mainly connecting various villages in Yangping Yi Autonomous Township, collecting domestic sewage from each household to 1# lifting pump station and the main pipe section, with a total length of 11km . At the same time, new household integrated sewage treatment equipment ( CTank600 ) is installed in the two first-level water source protection areas of Laobanqing and Zhaojiashanqing in Yongsheng County. 33 sets, each set with a daily sewage treatment capacity of 0.6t/d , and are currently fully debugged and operational.

Yangping Reservoir is responsible for supplying drinking water to 2/3 of the residents in Yongsheng County. After the completion and commissioning of the project, the domestic sewage from residents around the Yangping Reservoir area will be collected and transported to the county's sewage pipe network, while ensuring that ecologically clean water is injected into the reservoir from the first-level water source protection area, providing cleaner, more ecological, and healthier drinking water for tens of thousands of residents in Yongsheng County.
