Life is precious, safety is paramount - Report on the Sixth Engineering Project Department's 2018 Safety Production Month Activities

During the 2018 Safety Production Month activities, each project under the Sixth Engineering Project Department closely followed the theme of "Life First, Safe Development" and carried out a series of lively and colorful publicity and education activities.

In early June, the Sixth Engineering Department's ongoing projects—Kunming Sewage Sludge Treatment Project, Shilin Gas Pipeline Project, Jiangchuan Overhaul Project, Sanhuan Chemical Overhaul Project, and Dali Three Reservoirs Interconnection Phase II Project—all launched Safety Production Month activities through meetings, on-site presentations, document study, and slogan displays. They also made corresponding arrangements and deployments for the "Safety Production Month" activities according to the company's implementation plan.

In mid-to-late June, various projects successively carried out a series of activities including safety hazard inspections, safety accident warning education, posting or distribution of safety publicity brochures, safety production knowledge competitions, and safety production knowledge publicity consultations. Among them, the Sanhuan Chemical Overhaul Project held a fire safety emergency rescue drill with the owner, and the Dali Three Reservoirs Interconnection Phase II Project organized a collapse accident emergency rescue drill. Meanwhile, project leaders, including the Party branch secretary, deputy production manager, and safety director, inspected and supervised the progress of the Safety Production Month activities in each project.

The successful implementation of these activities created a positive safety production atmosphere for each project department, making all employees fully aware that "Life First" is a lifelong lesson for individuals, and "Safe Development" is an indispensable principle for the enterprise.
