Company Party Committee Organizes Themed Movie Party Lesson Viewing Activity

On the afternoon of June 4th, the company's Party Committee organized a themed film party lesson on Party history learning and education, with 86 Party members and cadres from various grassroots Party branches watching the Southwestern Associated University documentary "Post-90s". Gu Yongmao, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board; Gan Yong, Party Committee Member and Chairman of the Trade Union; Sun Jinyao, Party Committee Member and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission; and Lü Chunping, Chief Economist, participated in the event.

The film "Post-90s" features 16 former Southwestern Associated University students, including Yang Zhenning, Wang Xiqi, and Xu Yuanchong, with an average age of over 90, who recount stories of the university. These "Chinese prides", now in their twilight years but with bright eyes, share their passionate yet uncertain years as students. Their recollections include sorrowful choking, humorous laughter, and proud recollections of their struggles. A cross-generational dialogue between former students and the new generation, the film transports each Party member back in time, allowing them to experience firsthand the youthful passion and the "SWU spirit" behind this legendary university's eight-year existence during a turbulent era, and its lasting impact on China.

During the screening, the Party members and cadres were deeply moved by the ups and downs of the plot and the vivid characters; they were repeatedly struck by the revolutionary spirit of the revolutionary pioneers and scientific researchers—their firm beliefs, courage to fight, willingness to sacrifice, pursuit of truth, and hard work. The exemplary martyrs, embodying the motto "Even the trees are like this, what about people?", practiced their mission of serving the country and the people with their actions.

After the screening, many expressed that this red Party history film was inspiring and moving, encouraging them to carry on the red genes and revolutionary spirit with the determination of "We must strive to be strong." They pledged to focus on their work, innovate, and strive relentlessly, fully playing the exemplary role of Party members and contributing to the high-quality development of the company.
