Recently, the Baoshan City Qinghuahu District Honghua Phase II 10KV Power Distribution Project Capacity Expansion Project (Phase I) of the Yunnan Province 2013-2017 Urban Shantytown Renovation Project, implemented by the Ninth Engineering Project Department, passed its initial acceptance inspection.

The main work of this project includes: adding 3 sets of 10kV feeder cabinets, installing 1 set of 630KVA combined box-type substation, 1 set of 500KVA combined box-type substation, and 1 set of 315KVA combined box-type substation, and constructing 3 new cable branch boxes.

Because the project site's kindergarten is already in use and the Honghua Phase I residential area of the shantytown renovation project has been handed over for occupancy, and there are existing communication cables at the bottom of the cable trench where the cables are laid, the implementation of the project will inevitably affect the residents' daily lives. In order to minimize the impact on the normal life and work of the residents and ensure the safety of cable construction, the project department adopted positive and effective construction measures, actively seeking the support of the property management department, residents, and power supply department within the community. To avoid damage to the already laid cables from mechanical excavation, the project department used manual excavation for the cable trench construction, contacting the communication department beforehand and inviting relevant personnel to the site for guidance to ensure the smooth operation of the cables.

During the intensive 30-day construction period, the project department overcame difficulties such as tight deadlines, delayed supplies causing intermittent work, and the inability to cut power during peak resident electricity consumption, successfully completing the construction task. The project passed the acceptance inspection on the first attempt and received unanimous praise from the power department, the owner, and the Group's general contractor department 2.
