The company held a 2017 annual democratic life meeting of the leadership team

In accordance with the requirements of the Group Party Committee's "Notice on Holding the 2017 Annual Democratic Life Meeting of Party and Government Leading Cadres," a democratic life meeting of the party and government leadership team was held on the morning of February 8 in the company's fifth-floor meeting room. The meeting was presided over by Xu Bo, secretary of the company's Party Committee. Members of the company's party and government leadership team attended the meeting, along with Guo Jianchun, team leader of the Eleventh Supervision Group; Zheng Xuejun, deputy team leader; and Cheng Xiaoming, member, who provided guidance.

The company's Party Committee attached great importance to this annual democratic life meeting, carefully formulating an implementation plan for the leadership team's democratic life meeting. Opinion forms for the democratic life meeting were distributed to three levels: the company's two-level leadership teams, various functional departments and grassroots project departments, and various ongoing frontline projects. This ensured that opinions and suggestions were widely solicited from cadres and employees. The company's party and government leadership team earnestly studied and understood Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, firmly upholding the authority and centralized and unified leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, and comprehensively implementing the various decisions and deployments of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Focusing on the "Several Regulations on Intra-Party Political Life Under the New Situation" and the "Regulations of the Communist Party of China on Intra-Party Supervision," they conducted self-examination and party spirit analysis, and engaged in criticism and self-criticism, connecting these to their own thoughts and work realities.

At the meeting, Party Secretary Xu Bo first made a self-criticism on behalf of the team, closely focusing on the six aspects of the problems and the requirements of "three comparisons and three connections." He compared against the Party Constitution, the "Several Provisions of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Strengthening and Upholding the Centralized and Unified Leadership of the Party Central Committee," the "Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Eight-Point Decision of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China," his original aspirations and mission. He adhered to the principle of integrating theory with practice, maintained a problem-oriented approach, strengthened awareness of problems, and placed himself, his thoughts, and his work into the examination. He conducted in-depth analysis from aspects such as ideals and beliefs, political discipline, work style, responsibility and commitment, and the responsibility of governing the party, and clearly put forward future directions for efforts and improvement measures.

Following this, Comrade Xu Bo took the lead in conducting self-criticism and accepting criticism from others. Members of the party and government leadership team made self-examinations one by one, engaging in criticism and self-criticism. Everyone did not evade or conceal problems, directly addressing issues related to ideals and beliefs, political discipline and political rules, work style, responsibility and commitment, organizational life, and the implementation of the responsibility of comprehensively and strictly governing the party. They analyzed the reasons, touched upon the soul of the matter, and demonstrated their determination for self-purification, self-improvement, self-renewal, and self-enhancement.

Subsequently, Guo Jianchun, team leader of the Eleventh Supervision Group, delivered a concluding speech, giving high praise and recognition to the company's leadership team's thematic democratic life meeting. He pointed out that the leadership team of the Second Installation Company earnestly implemented the deployment requirements of the Group Party Committee. This democratic life meeting was well-prepared, with a clear theme, prominent focus, and pertinent opinions. It was a democratic life meeting that allowed for ideological baptism, truly achieving the goal of unity-criticism-unity, and achieving good results. Members of the team engaged in heart-to-heart talks, communicated their thoughts, exchanged opinions, and reached a consensus, laying a solid foundation for holding the democratic life meeting.

Team Leader Guo also put forward several opinions and requirements for the company's leadership team: First, to always remain vigilant and correctly understand the problems reflected in the self-examination materials of the leadership team and leading cadres; second, to earnestly summarize the good experiences and practices of this democratic life meeting, think systematically, learn from experience, and further improve the democratic life meeting system; third, to earnestly carry out rectification and implementation of problems; fourth, to achieve deep integration of party building and operations; and fifth, to ensure that cadres are clean and law-abiding and act in accordance with the law and regulations.

Finally, Secretary Xu Bo, on behalf of the party and government leadership team, expressed gratitude for the Group's long-standing concern and support for the company's development and for the affirmation of the company's democratic life meeting. He stated that the opinions and suggestions put forward would be earnestly rectified and implemented. In future work, the company will use the thematic democratic life meeting as an opportunity to identify problems, strengthen the construction of intra-party political culture, consolidate the grassroots foundation, win the trust and support of cadres and employees through the effectiveness of various tasks, and further promote the company's development.
