At 8 am on March 13th, a bus drove into the on-site office area of the Ten Construction Department's Indonesia Surabaya project. Cheng Hua, the department manager, and Zhao Junbo, the deputy manager, welcomed four medical personnel from PT. ULTRA MEDICA SEJAHTERA medical institution.
After a brief communication and completion of the medical examination forms, the project department's medical examination work began. Blood tests, urine tests, electrocardiograms, X-rays, and routine surgical examinations of the eyes, nose, throat, and limbs, as well as blood pressure measurements—more than ten items—were conducted in sequence, all strictly following procedures. A total of 18 expatriate employees from the project department and subcontractors spent 4 hours completing all the medical examination items. After the examination, all management personnel highly recognized the professional performance and serious attitude of the local Indonesian medical institution. There was a small episode: a colleague was worried about the high radiation of X-rays and did not want to have the X-ray. After the doctor patiently explained with scientific and professional medical knowledge, the colleague happily accepted the examination. This small incident enhanced everyone's positive impression of the institution and the Indonesian government.
This medical examination reflects the Indonesian government's and PT. ULTRA MEDICA SEJAHTERA medical institution's care for Chinese construction workers, and it also plays a positive role in boosting the confidence of all project department employees and ensuring the smooth achievement of project milestones.
