A delegation from the government of Porto-Novo, Benin visited the group

7 On February 22, Mayor Christie Houchono of Cotonou, Benin, and his delegation visited the Group, where they were warmly received by Liu Jinrong, Deputy General Manager of the Group Company.

Christie Houchono expressed gratitude for the Group's long-standing significant contributions to the economic and social development of Cotonou. He noted that the Cotonou coastal project is highly valued by the Beninese government and that, thanks to high-level support and active efforts from both sides, the project is progressing smoothly. He highlighted the vast potential for cooperation in infrastructure construction, agriculture, and logistics and trade, expressing hope that practical collaboration would further deepen the friendship between the two peoples.

Liu Jinrong expressed sincere gratitude for Cotonou's long-standing care, assistance, and support for the Group and the coastal project. He stated that in recent years, the Group has deeply integrated into the Belt and Road Initiative, serving the national and Yunnan provincial development strategies, and possesses strong capabilities in infrastructure, international logistics, and trade. The Group is confident in the Beninese market and hopes to continuously maintain and strengthen Yunnan-Benin friendship through multi-faceted exchanges and cooperation, contributing to the economic and social development and improved living standards of the Beninese people.

Relevant leaders from the Group's Market Operation Department, International Engineering Department, Haitou Company, and General Contracting Company participated in the meeting and introduced their respective overseas business operations.
