The Chinese Embassy in Kazakhstan sent a letter of thanks to the Group

Recently, the Chinese Embassy in Kazakhstan sent a letter of thanks to the Group, fully affirming the contributions of the Group's general contracting company's construction workers on the Astana Light Rail Transit Phase I Package 1, Section 2 project, during President Xi Jinping's state visit to Kazakhstan and his attendance at the 24th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.

The letter points out that from July 2nd to 4th, 2024, President Xi Jinping successfully conducted a state visit to Kazakhstan and attended the 24th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation held in Astana. According to the embassy's overall reception arrangements, 131 comrades from the Yunnan Engineering Construction General Contracting Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Group, and working on the Astana Light Rail Transit Phase I Package 1, Section 2 project, actively participated in the reception and security work. All comrades deeply understood the "two establishments," consciously practiced the "two safeguards," performed their duties diligently, obeyed commands, successfully completed all tasks, demonstrated excellent political qualities, good teamwork spirit, efficient organizational capabilities, and solid work style, making positive contributions to the success of the visit and receiving full affirmation from the delegation.

The letter expresses heartfelt gratitude for the Group's strong support and hard work, and commends all the comrades who participated in the work. The Chinese Embassy in Kazakhstan stated that it is willing to continue working with the Group to make greater contributions to promoting the rapid development of China-Kazakhstan relations and high-quality Belt and Road construction.
