11 On the morning of July 7th, the company's Party Committee held a symposium with non-Party intellectuals. Yang Yu, the deputy secretary of the company's Party Committee, employee director, and chairman of the labor union, attended the meeting and delivered a summary speech.

At the meeting, participants jointly studied the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the symposium with non-Party figures; the head of the Party Committee's work department explained the key contents of the "Company's Implementation Plan for Deepening the Grid-based Service Work for Non-Party Intellectuals," clarifying the goals and tasks of the grid-based service work for non-Party intellectuals; two representatives of non-Party intellectuals, based on their own work experience, exchanged views on how to better leverage the role of non-Party intellectuals in the company's reform and development.
Yang Yu requested: First, strengthen political guidance and build consensus. All non-Party intellectuals in the company should thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thoughts on doing a good job of the Party's united front work in the new era, effectively raising their political standing, and unswervingly listening to the Party, being grateful to the Party, and following the Party. They should jointly study and deeply understand the spirit of the 20th CPC Central Committee's Third Plenary Session, General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions, and continuously enhance their political, ideological, theoretical, and emotional identification with the leadership of the Communist Party of China and socialism with Chinese characteristics.
Second, find the right direction and contribute to the cause at their posts. The grid leaders of the basic functional grid of the company's grid-based service for non-Party intellectuals should raise their awareness and lead and motivate non-Party intellectuals to focus on central tasks, combine business realities, and display their talents and ambitions in the major strategic deployments of the group and the company. They should better leverage the positive role of non-Party intellectuals in promoting the company's reform and development, strive to create conditions for their learning, life, and work, and fully support the company's non-Party intellectuals in actively performing their duties at their posts and continuously enhancing their abilities through practical training.
Third, adhere to the Party's management of cadres and build a development platform. The Party organizations at both levels of the company should adhere to the principle of the Party's management of cadres, continuously increase the selection and training of non-Party intellectuals, continuously broaden the company's channels for selecting and employing people, and build an open, fair, and merit-based platform for the vast number of non-Party intellectuals. Relevant functional departments should actively provide non-Party intellectuals with opportunities for continuous learning and development, and help them update their knowledge structure and improve their comprehensive quality by holding various forms of training classes and seminars for non-Party intellectuals.
