The absorption tower of the Yunnan Dawei Ammonia Ultra-low Emission Project has been successfully topped out.

9 On February 22, with the completion of the final section of the top tower installation, the absorption tower of the ultra-low emission project for the Yunnan Dawei Ammonia Boiler Island Flue Gas Desulfurization device, constructed by the company, was successfully topped out.

As a key piece of equipment in the entire ultra-low emission project, the absorption tower has a total height of more than 50 meters, weighs 288.3 tons, and has a diameter of 12000 mm. During the project construction process, the project department, based on the target node tasks, scientifically reversed the schedule, reasonably allocated personnel, and continuously optimized the construction process to ensure the orderly progress of the project. Faced with the difficulties of a narrow site and an inability to unfold the work surface on a large scale, the project team, under the careful guidance of many hoisting masters from the company, strictly followed the production process requirements and quality acceptance standards, and adopted innovative hoisting methods to suit local conditions. Ultimately, they successfully overcame the problem of limited site space, completed the absorption tower topping-out task on schedule, and effectively saved project construction costs.
