8 From April 4th to 8th, Liu Jinrong, Deputy General Manager of the Group, visited Laos and Malaysia, respectively calling on Chinese Ambassador to Laos Fang Hong, Lao Minister of Public Works and Transport Anphonsene Mamani, Malaysian Minister of Tourism Chang Qingxin, and President of Bank of China Malaysia Zhang Min. He conducted field research on the first phase expansion project of the Patuxai Square Park aided by China in Laos and the mechanical and electrical installation and waste heat boiler installation project of Nine Dragons Paper Mill in Malaysia, and visited and comforted the cadres and employees working on the front lines overseas.

At the Chinese Embassy in Laos, Liu Jinrong, on behalf of the Group, congratulated Ambassador Fang Hong on her new post, detailed the Group's development and business operations in Laos, and expressed gratitude for the Embassy's long-term support and assistance to the Group's development in Laos.
Fang Hong fully affirmed the achievements the Group has made in its development in Laos and its positive contribution to Laos' economic and social development. She stated that the Embassy will continue to support Chinese and Yunnan-based enterprises in their operations and development in Laos, hoping that Yunnan Construction Investment Group will take a more proactive role in serving and integrating into the national "Belt and Road" initiative, continue to actively implement the China-Laos Community of Shared Future Action Plan, give full play to its own advantages, operate and maintain the Vientiane-Vang Vieng section of the China-Laos high-speed railway, scientifically plan and steadily advance the construction and operation of the last three sections of the China-Laos high-speed railway, and make new contributions to promoting China-Laos economic and trade exchanges and building a China-Laos community of shared future.
At the Lao Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Liu Jinrong detailed the progress of the China-Laos high-speed railway project. Anphonsene Mamani stated that the Lao Ministry of Transport, as the government department in charge of the high-speed railway project, has always attached great importance to and paid close attention to the progress of the China-Laos high-speed railway, hoping that Yunnan Construction Investment Group will accelerate the construction of the last three sections, especially the fourth section of the China-Laos high-speed railway, which has achieved phased results. He hopes to continue to accelerate the progress and achieve substantial breakthroughs, and that the Lao Ministry of Transport will continue to support Yunnan Construction Investment Group's major investment projects in Laos.

Liu Jinrong investigated the first-phase expansion project of the Patuxai Square Park aided by China in Laos and the mechanical and electrical installation and waste heat boiler installation project of Nine Dragons Paper Mill in Malaysia, emphasizing the need to enhance the sense of responsibility and urgency in ensuring safe production, overcome complacency, laxity, and luck, strengthen the implementation of responsibilities for preventing and controlling safety risks, and implement various measures for civilized construction to ensure the orderly and efficient implementation of the projects.
Liu Jinrong held business meetings and exchange symposiums in Laos and Malaysia, requiring that all overseas units of the Group should uphold the concept of "one network, one game, one family, one heart," adhere to the annual goals and tasks, safeguard the "responsibility field" of cultivating overseas markets, make every effort to promote overseas business operations, improve business efficiency, fulfillment capabilities, and brand influence, and make every effort to play the advantage card of the Group's overseas business to make new and greater contributions to the Group's high-quality development.

During this period, Liu Jinrong also went to the Vientiane Saysomboun Comprehensive Development Zone, China-Laos Railway Co., Ltd., Golden Lion Group and Xiaoen Group in Malaysia, and the Pahang State Health and Wellness Project (LYC) for investigation, research, and exchange meetings.
Relevant responsible persons from the Group's International Engineering Department, Base Investment Company, Overseas Investment Company, Fifth Company, General Contracting Company, and An'er Second Company participated in the investigation.
