The sub-section 2 of the Xizang Giant Dragon Project successfully completed the pouring of the base layer for the A0 raw ore transfer station.

Recently, the A0 transfer station subgrade construction and pouring work of the original ore system project, Package 2, of the second-phase expansion project of the Tibet Julong Copper Mine has been completed ahead of schedule.

Package 2 of the original ore system project is a relatively complex system project in the second-phase construction project. Located at an altitude of 5300 meters, the project includes the construction of a transfer station, corridors 7-12, a boiler room, a steel ball addition yard, a lime milk preparation workshop, a comprehensive warehouse, retaining walls, and five large pools. The A0 transfer station is an important hub connecting the Julong Phase II South crushing station to the original ore system. The successful completion of the pouring work has achieved the construction node target ahead of schedule, laying a solid foundation for the construction of other work points in the original ore system.

The various work points of the original ore are at high altitudes, with frequent snowfall, frequent rain and fog, and serious accumulation of snow and ice in the foundation pits. Coupled with the thick permafrost and hard rock layers, both mechanical and manual trench cleaning are extremely difficult and time-consuming. Faced with numerous difficulties, the project team did not shrink back but seized the opportunity and carried out construction work during periods of good weather. During the May Day holiday, project managers and more than 40 construction workers stayed at their posts, turning "holiday" into "construction period," actively overcoming the impact of harsh weather and low-oxygen environments, working hard to seize time and speed up progress, and using practical actions to practice the spirit of the plateau iron army.

Recently, with frequent snowfall and the upcoming flood season, the project department will use node targets as guidance, organize the package leaders and chief foremen to formulate the main construction schedule nodes for the two packages, reverse schedule, efficiently organize the input and use of personnel and machinery, and actively promote project construction.
