Recently, the 15MW steam turbine generator set of the Yu Kun Steel Power Plant's waste heat power generation project, undertaken by the Second Engineering Project Department, successfully completed its initial test run and was smoothly connected to the grid.

To ensure the smooth completion of the test run and grid connection, the project department meticulously organized and coordinated all preparatory work before the initial run-up. During the test run, the equipment debugging personnel worked closely together to ensure the stable operation of all systems and equipment. At 7:15 PM on March 31, the unit was officially started. After all parameters met the run-up conditions, the run-up began. After the steam turbine reached its rated speed, a series of tests were conducted, including valve tightness tests, TSI overspeed tests, and OPC tests. Finally, all indicators met the standard requirements, and the test run was successful. In the early morning of April 1, the generator set was successfully connected to the grid, thus marking the successful completion of the test run and grid connection work for the project's 15MW steam turbine generator set.

Next, all employees of the project department will work together to overcome difficulties and ensure the smooth completion of the subsequent coal gas power generation tasks, delivering a satisfactory result to the client. [Second Engineering Project Department/Hou Chao]
