3 On February 22, the Group held a 2024 Letters and Visits, Stability Maintenance, and Security and Protection Work Conference to comprehensively summarize the achievements of the Group's 2023 Letters and Visits, Stability Maintenance, and Security and Protection work and to arrange and deploy key tasks for 2024. Chen Zhouxiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union of the Group Company, attended the meeting and delivered a summary speech.

Chen Zhouxiang fully affirmed the achievements of the Group's 2023 Letters and Visits, Stability Maintenance, and Security and Protection work. He emphasized that all units and staff members should adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, fully implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thoughts on strengthening and improving people's letters and visits work, earnestly implement the spirit of the Group's First Party Congress and the Second Session of the First Workers' Congress, and meticulously investigate shortcomings and weaknesses in the work from four aspects: ideological understanding, responsibility implementation, work effectiveness, and work ability. He stressed the importance of vigorously carrying forward the work style of "acting immediately and working diligently," accurately grasping the current key tasks, fulfilling one's duties loyally and responsibly, and providing a strong guarantee for the Group's high-quality development with enhanced internal strength.

Chen Zhouxiang requested:

First, uphold and strengthen the Party's overall leadership over letters and visits work. We must raise our political standing, unify our ideological understanding, and strictly implement responsibilities. Starting from key areas, focusing on the goal of "controlling the increase, reducing the existing amount, and preventing changes," we should improve and perfect the work responsibility system, build a large work framework for letters and visits and stability maintenance with multi-departmental coordination and linkage, and significantly improve the modernization level of the governance system and governance capacity in the field of letters and visits and stability maintenance.

The 14th Metallurgical Construction Company and the 5th Construction Company made exchange speeches. The meeting reported on the handling of letters and visits in the Group in 2023.
