Sweat irrigates the harvest, and hard work leads to progress. Recently, the results of the 2023 Yunnan Province Industrial Worker Team Construction Reform Assessment were announced. Among the 26 provincial enterprises and centrally-administered enterprises stationed in Yunnan that participated in the assessment, the Group was one of the 12 units with excellent results. This is also the third consecutive year that Yunnan Construction Investment Group has been rated as "excellent" in this work.

The construction industry worker team is an important force supporting the development of the construction industry and creating high-quality construction products. As the leading enterprise in the construction industry in our province and also one of the first batch of pilot units for the reform of the industrial worker team construction in the province, in recent years, the Group has taken on its mission and responsibilities, focusing on key tasks such as ideological leadership, achievements, quality improvement, status improvement, and team expansion. It uses pilot programs to drive the pace of production reform, uses characteristics to stimulate the vitality of production reform, works together vertically and horizontally, resonates at the same frequency, and works in the same direction. The production reform work has many highlights, and advanced models continue to emerge. The benefits of the reform have benefited more employees, and it is committed to writing the "Construction Investment Answer Sheet" for the province's production reform work.

Leading by Example: Establishing a Benchmark for Production Reform

The Group closely follows the characteristics of the industry and the actual situation of the enterprise, and promotes reform with the idea of "leading by example". Since the beginning of the reform in 2018, the Group has identified 10 pilot units, consistently adhering to demonstration and leadership, strengthening the creation of highlights and characteristics, and continuously promoting the in-depth development and extension of production reform to the grassroots level.

2023 In November, the Group's Party Committee issued the "Notice on Selecting the Second Batch of 10 Pilot Units for Production Reform." The number of pilot units reached 20, covering one-third of the secondary units. At the same time, more than 30 production reform surveys were conducted throughout the year, and 500,000 yuan in special funds were allocated to coordinate the work of consolidating "points" and expanding "areas." Significant achievements have been made in promoting team building, promoting reform and development, and stimulating enterprise vitality: The employee's innovative achievement, the "Dragon Gate Four-Wire Gas-Shielded Welding Model"   was recommended by the Yunnan Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and showcased at the Second National Craftsmen Innovation Exchange Conference, receiving rave reviews at the exhibition site; it won 5 awards in the 2023 China Employee Technological Innovation Achievement Award, including 1 special prize, 1 first prize, 1 second prize, and 2 third prizes; the women's employee innovation studio team won the title of "National May 1st Women's Role Model Post" and was successfully selected into the first "Women Welders" Innovation Studio Alliance in the machinery, metallurgy, and building materials industry jointly established by the China Machinery Metallurgy Building Materials Trade Union and the National Women's Federation; it won first place in the 20th Yunnan Provincial Employee Vocational Skills Competition welding skills competition, winning the welding "technical champion" for four consecutive years; 3 grassroots units have achieved remarkable results in promoting reform and have been listed as pilot units for production reform by their respective cities and prefectures... allowing the effects of production reform to be "stars all over the sky," promoting the in-depth and practical implementation of comprehensive reform.

Ideological Leadership: Building Consensus Among Employees

Adhering to the forging of hearts and souls, tempering ideology, and laying a solid foundation for the industrial workers' struggle. In the past year, the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era has been steadily advanced, with more than 500 thematic party lectures conducted, covering more than 16,000 party members and employees; more than 60 training classes for party and government cadres have been held, with more than 9,000 party and government cadres attending party schools in batches to study ideology and strengthen party spirit, continuously guiding cadres and employees to establish "four consciousnesses," strengthen "four confidences," and practice "two safeguards."

"The Chinese Dream, the Beauty of Labor" themed education activities are being carried out vigorously. Leading with advanced models, closely following the Group's vision, mission, core values, and "four spirits," 214 thematic lectures on model workers, craftsmen, and advanced figures were conducted, inviting the Group's national and provincial model workers, skilled masters, craftsmen, and advanced figures to the grassroots level to share their touching stories and extraordinary achievements in their growth and development, using the form of people around them telling stories of people around them, allowing the vast number of employees to truly feel that the spirit of model workers, the spirit of labor, and the spirit of craftsmanship are not far away, further strengthening the confidence and determination of employees to work hard at their posts and dedicate themselves to the high-quality development of the enterprise.

Through the implementation of a series of activities such as the "Strong Nation Revival, Struggle Has Me" themed speech competition and the "Learning the 20th National Congress, Building a New Era" reading activities, covering 33,000 people, the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era have been delivered to the grassroots level, to teams, and to workshops, planting the idea that labor is glorious, skills are precious, and creation is great in the hearts of industrial workers.

Empowering Growth: Building a Training System

With quality improvement as the key, the goal of "improving vocational skills training and increasing the cultivation of skilled talents" has become increasingly clear. Giving full play to the advantages of the training center and the provincial high-skilled talent training base of the technical school, relying on training bases such as trade union stations and rural industrial spare-time schools, extensive and in-depth industrial worker training is carried out. A total of 8,584 training sessions were organized for managers, professional and technical personnel, and skilled workers throughout the year, covering 186,000 people. The training focuses on key areas and adopts innovative forms. Through classified and strengthened training, the professional knowledge and skills of industrial workers have been systematically improved. New apprenticeship training covered 2,641 people, and 4,697 people completed independent assessment and evaluation of vocational skills. The Group's migrant worker quality and skills improvement site received high praise in the survey conducted by the China Seafarers Construction Trade Union and was recommended as a national demonstration site, and the quality and efficiency of skilled talent cultivation work has been comprehensively improved.

The empowering effect of education and training is significant, and the achievements of employee innovation activities are fruitful. 327 "five small" innovation activities were carried out, with more than 10,000 participants, and 1,098 rationalization suggestions were collected, leading more employees to participate in the hot practice of innovation and creation, and striving to create a large team of industrial workers with ideals, beliefs, technical expertise, innovation capabilities, responsibility, and dedication.

Making Achievements and Serving Enterprise Development

In the tide of reform, more and more industrial workers have stepped onto higher platforms, showing their talents, showcasing their style, and realizing their value. Through the widespread, long-lasting, and in-depth labor competitions and skills competitions, the confidence and fighting spirit of the vast number of industrial workers to strive for excellence and make achievements have been stimulated, helping the Group's high-quality development in an intensive way. Focusing on key areas such as "full connectivity," plateau lake governance, urban renewal, and "dual improvement," 216 "Our Workers Have Strength" themed labor competitions were held in multiple key projects, covering a total of 1,988 projects, with 175,300 participants and migrant workers. 122 skills competitions and military training activities were organized, with more than 5,700 technical talents and skilled workers participating. 3 provincial "technical champions" and 27 "technical experts" were awarded. A large number of contestants won gold and silver medals in various national and provincial competitions, encouraging the vast number of industrial workers to take the initiative, demonstrate their value, and demonstrate their responsibility in promoting the promotion and application of technology, industrial transformation and upgrading, and contributing to high-quality development.

Actively carrying out the commendation and role model selection, a large number of advanced collectives and individuals have been commended. In the whole year, 1 person won the National May 1st Labor Medal, 1 national worker vanguard, 1 national May 1st women's role model post, 1 national labor model in the housing and construction system, 1 Yunling craftsman, 2 provincial May 1st labor commendation certificates, 17 provincial May 1st labor medals, 2 provincial May 1st labor commendation certificates, 10 provincial worker vanguard teams, 33 provincial competition advanced collectives, and 98 provincial competition advanced individuals.

Through activities such as "passing on experience," on-the-job training, and skills competitions, the overall skill level of industrial workers has been effectively improved. More and more outstanding industrial workers and skilled technicians have become household names, greatly enhancing employees' sense of honor, pride, and belonging.

Caring for Employees, Enhancing Happiness Index

Labor creates happiness, and hard work achieves great things. Taking the construction of "Happy JianTou" as the main work line, we continue to carry out brand activities such as spring greetings, summer cooling, autumn assistance for students, winter warmth, and mutual medical assistance, singing the main theme of "diligent work, happy life".

A bowl of summer soup, a bottle of toilet water, a windbreaker, a warm quilt, an art performance, a group birthday... Services continue, care never stops. We continue to carry out brand activities such as spring greetings, summer cooling, autumn assistance for students, winter warmth, and mutual medical assistance. The group's two-level investment totaled 13.7614 million yuan, benefiting 63,000 people, and distributing 7.5622 million yuan in mutual medical assistance funds. A wide range of safety production activities were carried out, with 5285 teams participating in the "Ankang Cup" competition, covering 33,000 people. We attach great importance to the rights and interests of employees. During the employee congress, 42 proposals and 126 opinions from employees were collected. The employee health check-up system was fully implemented, with 34 million yuan paid to provide check-up services for more than 40,000 employees. A "Happy JianTou Assistance Fund" was established, raising 1.559 million yuan and assisting 2107 people. Three pilot employee recuperation activities were held, with more than 300 model workers, craftsmen, and frontline employees participating in the recuperation. More than 500 employees in difficulty were included in the normalized assistance program, with 4.5575 million yuan in various assistance and relief funds and materials distributed.
