The Chu Xiong Dianzhong tailings selection project of the Second Engineering Project Department has been successfully put into trial production.

1 On August 28, the various processes of the Chuxiong Dianzhong tailings selection project, undertaken by the Second Engineering Project Department, met the performance requirements after inspection and testing, and the project's trial production was successful.

The project is located in the Chuxiong Dianzhong pyrometallurgical plant tailings selection area and involves four main processes: crushing, grinding and flotation, dewatering, and tailings storage. There are also supporting processes that adapt to the ore dressing process, including power supply and distribution systems, water supply and drainage systems, and civil engineering. The main work includes replacing one SG160 cone crusher and belts 4 and 5 in the crushing area; adding a MQ3650 ball mill and belt 6 in the grinding and flotation process, overhauling one MQG2740 ball mill, one Φ250-4 hydrocyclone, and one FJ250-GT-B×4 hydrocyclone; adding 13 CLF-16 and 8 CLF-4 rougher flotation machines, two Φ3000 stirring tanks, and three Φ1500 reagent stirring tanks; and adding two 45 in the dewatering process ㎡ ceramic filter presses, etc.
