Group's dedicated external director investigates the group's overseas projects and Xishuangbanna company

1 From July 14th to 20th, Tan Yuanrong and Zhang Yu, the group's full-time external directors, conducted a field trip to key projects in the group's Cambodia and Laos regions, as well as the Xishuangbanna Company. They thoroughly investigated the status of the group's key overseas businesses, the work of the Yunnan Provincial Representative Offices in Cambodia and Laos, and the overall development of the Xishuangbanna Company. They also visited and greeted frontline cadres and employees, extending New Year's greetings and best wishes.

1 From July 14th to 19th, the research team successively investigated the Siem Reap Angkor International Airport in Cambodia, the Sino-Cambodian Cultural and Creative Park, the Phnom Penh Kaibo Building, the Laos That Luang Comprehensive Development Zone, and the Vientiane-Vang Vieng section of the China-Laos Highway. They also conducted on-site inspections of key projects such as the last three sections of the China-Laos Highway project in northern Laos. They gained an in-depth understanding of the investment and construction scale, construction organization methods, safety measures, and subsequent maintenance of each project.

The research team expressed gratitude for the positive contributions made by the cadres and employees stationed on the front lines to the group's overseas undertakings. The research team emphasized that Cambodia and Laos are important overseas markets for the group's development and important tools for the group's active integration into the national Belt and Road Initiative. After years of operation and development, the group has become an important force in the economic development of both Cambodia and Laos. The Siem Reap Angkor International Airport project, as a key project of Sino-Cambodian capacity cooperation and a key international hub airport being developed by Cambodia, is not easy to complete and deliver on schedule. This highlights the group's vigorous spirit in the construction of Belt and Road projects. The Laos That Luang Comprehensive Development Zone project is a core asset and important project of the group in the Laos region. We must continue to promote the construction and investment attraction of the development zone, resolutely focus on serving enterprises, continuously improve the management level of the park, and ensure the safety of production and life for enterprises in the park. The successful operation of the Vientiane-Vang Vieng section of the China-Laos Highway has established the group's brand image in the Laos highway industry. We should comprehensively consider the overall implementation of the last three sections of the China-Laos Highway project, integrate the benefits and impacts brought by the construction of Yunnan Province's international land-sea corridor facing the Indian Ocean, conduct analysis and judgment, and provide a basis for the group's next decision-making; we should accelerate the preliminary work of the Mengsai-Boten section, fully implement project approval, highway design optimization, and engineering cost analysis, and ensure that the project is implemented as planned.

1 On July 20th, the research team visited JianTou Xishuangbanna Company, listened to a detailed introduction of the company's overall development, and put forward suggestions on the company's relevant work. The research team emphasized the need to strengthen government-enterprise cooperation and development, continuously explore and optimize government-enterprise cooperation models, and actively work with local governments to seize opportunities and seek mutual benefit. We should give full play to the advantages of the Xishuangbanna Company's location, tap the potential for cooperation in resource economy, port economy, and park economy, pay attention to strengthening exchanges with the group, investment platforms, financial institutions, and excellent enterprises, actively plan a number of large-scale and landmark projects, and strive to create a new situation of win-win cooperation and development. We should focus on our main responsibilities and businesses, accelerate the improvement of the company's various professional qualifications, strengthen and improve our capabilities, and promote high-quality development through internal improvements.
