Yunnan Construction Investment Second Installation Engineering Co., Ltd.'s Sixth Engineering Project Department (hereinafter referred to as "Sixth Project Department") was established in October 2009. It is the longest-established secondary unit of Yunnan Construction Investment Second Installation Engineering Co., Ltd. (formerly Yunnan Provincial Second Installation Engineering Company) after flattening. The Sixth Project Department inherits the advanced business capabilities of the Second Installation Engineering Company in industrial and building electromechanical installation, and its business sectors involve the company's most representative industrial installation, building electromechanical, environmental governance, pulp and paper making, long-distance water conservancy, mining, and other fields. It is a mainstay in the company's new business models of its flagship brands.
The Sixth Engineering Project Department Party Branch was officially established on January 10, 2011, with the approval of the company's Party Committee. On August 12, 2015, the Branch Committee was officially established. After three terms, there are 5 branch committee members, 18 party members (16 full members and 2 probationary members), 11 active applicants for party membership, and 3 applicants for party membership.
2019 Since that year, the Party branch has carried out standardized construction and created party building demonstration points in two ongoing projects. It passed the acceptance of the first batch of standardized party branches. The Sixth Engineering Project Department Party Branch always regards the Party's political construction as the primary task of Party building work and takes "grasping Party building around the center and promoting development through Party building" as the starting point and the focus of Party building work. Since the establishment of the project department in 2009, the project department has successively implemented a series of projects, including the Sanhuan Chemical 450 chemical equipment and pipeline installation project, the Sanhuan Chemical 100,000-ton concentration device installation project, and the Jiangchuan Jianglin Group phosphate chemical device overhaul and technological transformation project. Third, at the end of 2022, the Engineering Department established the Tibet Julong Project Department, participating in the construction of the Zijin Julong Copper Polymetallic Mining Project, the second largest in scale and the highest in altitude in the world.
