9 On the morning of the 1st of the month, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Shuangjiang County 2023 shanty town renovation project (renovation, expansion, and reconstruction of the Mengku area), undertaken by the Ninth Engineering Project Department.
The Shuangjiang project has a planned total investment of 89 million yuan and a construction period of 1 year. The construction content involves the transformation of streets, power and communication lines, sidewalks, rainwater and sewage pipelines, exterior facade appearance, street greening, and lighting within the Linmeng Line and agricultural trade market area of Mengku Town, and the construction of a new emergency shelter (with supporting parking, toilets, and cultural activities), and the installation of gas pipelines.
