The 2020-2021 Luban Prize Award Ceremony was held! The group won four awards.

From November 24th to 25th, the Group was invited to attend the Third Meeting of the Seventh Council of the China Construction Industry Association and the 2020-2021 China Construction Engineering Luban Award Ceremony and Industry Technological Innovation Conference. Li Zhizheng, Deputy General Manager of the Group, led the delegation.

On November 25th, the 2020-2021 China Construction Engineering Luban Award Ceremony and Industry Technological Innovation Conference was held in Nanning. Ni Hong, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Minister of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, attended and delivered a speech.

Ni Hong extended his warm congratulations to all the award-winning units. He stated, For 35 years, the China Construction Engineering Luban Award has witnessed the historical process of China's construction changing the face of China. It has played an important role in guiding enterprises to improve their quality systems, accelerate technological progress, promote energy conservation and emission reduction, and build enterprise brands, effectively promoting the overall improvement of China's construction engineering quality level.

The meeting announced the decision to commend the 2020-2021 China Construction Engineering Luban Award, awarding Luban statues, medals, and certificates to 246 award-winning project contractors. The Chuxiong Government Service Center project, constructed by the Group's Second Construction Company and participated in by the Installation Subsidiary Company; the Kunming Planning Museum project, constructed by the Group's Third Construction Company; the Huanhu Road Ancient City Section Landscape and Road Improvement Project, constructed by Southwest Communications Construction Company and participated in by China Aviation Company; and the Yunnan Province Niulanjiang-Dianchi Water Replenishment Project, invested in by Water Investment Company and constructed by the First Hydropower and Hydroelectric Company, all received the "Little Golden Man" award.

List of Award-Winning Projects:

The Chuxiong Municipal Government Service Center project, constructed by the Second Construction Company and participated in by the Installation Subsidiary Company, is located in the central area of Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture. It is a comprehensive, intelligent, and green people's livelihood building that is the first in Yunnan Province to implement “one-stop” convenient and quick government services. The building's plan is shaped like a "marigold," symbolizing the bravery and auspiciousness of the Chuxiong Yi people, and the facade resembles a "soaring eagle," with unique local ethnic characteristics. Since its commissioning, all systems have been operating normally, becoming an important platform for the Chuxiong Municipal Government to provide high-quality, convenient, and efficient services to the people of all ethnic groups in the autonomous prefecture.

The Kunming Planning Museum project, constructed by the Third Construction Company, is located in Baofeng Wetland on the East Ring Road of Kunming. The project covers an area of 30,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 36,300 square meters. It has one underground floor and four above-ground floors, with a total building height of 24 meters and a total investment of approximately 560 million yuan. Construction began in June 2016 and was completed in June 2019. The building is based on the Yunnan traditional residential style of "Yike Yin," with the structural system and building space organically unified, reflecting the ingenious design of "using a rectangle to form a circle, and combining rectangles to form a square." It is a landmark public cultural facility with the characteristics of Kunming's regional culture.

The Huanhu Road Ancient City Section Landscape and Road Improvement Project, constructed by Southwest Communications Construction Company and participated in by China Aviation Company, is Yunnan Province's first municipal garden engineering Luban Award. The project is located on the south bank of Dianchi Lake in Kunming, adjacent to Zheng He's hometown ——Jinning. The route starts from Taishi Village in Jinning County and ends at the Gaoshan Expressway station square in Xishan District, with a total length of 11.78 kilometers, a garden area of 470,000 square meters, and a total investment of 1.975 billion yuan. The road is designed as a two-way four-lane road, classified as a secondary urban road, with a design speed of 40 kilometers per hour. The project includes landscape greening, wetland ecological restoration, and municipal roads.

Niulanjiang —The Dianchi Water Replenishment Project was invested in and constructed by Water Investment Company and the First Hydropower and Hydroelectric Company. The project is located in Qujing and Kunming cities and mainly consists of Deze Reservoir, Ganhe Pumping Station, and water conveyance lines. The project is a large (2) type project with a designed water diversion volume of 572 million cubic meters per year. Among them, the Deze Reservoir hub project is located in Deze Township, Zhami District, Qujing City, and consists of a concrete-faced rockfill dam, spillway, power generation and drainage tunnel, and a post-dam power station. The maximum dam height is 142.4 meters, and the total reservoir capacity is 447.8 million cubic meters.
