The joy of signing the contract had not yet subsided when the nationwide outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic struck. On February 29, 2020, just after the Spring Festival, the owner requested that the installation project of the first phase of the Qujing Linting Technology Lithium Iron Phosphate project under Defang Nano officially start, and a commitment reward and punishment agreement was signed.

"I didn't expect that the pressure to start work would be so great, and the pressure would be even greater after entering the site. For a project of more than 70 million yuan, the actual construction period is only 60 working days!" said Lv Yongshu, the project site executive manager.

As the general contractor of the installation project, An'er Company faced several unfavorable conditions such as lagging civil construction, imperfect design drawings, shortened construction period, high quality requirements, and the impact of the epidemic, which were like mountains pressing down on the project department. Relying on years of experience in industrial installation, the management team conducted a comprehensive evaluation, comprehensive analysis, and planning and organization, and quickly found solutions.

"Project management personnel keep their phones on 24 hours a day. We are the owner's 110!" Whenever the owner has a request, the site responds actively. The design unit's drawings are slow, the degree of consistency with the actual situation on site is not high, and the amount of design changes is large. Sometimes, more than 30 design change orders may be received in one day, seriously affecting the construction progress. The project management team sent the most experienced technical team to assist the design unit in improving design defects based on the actual situation. Frequent design changes have led to more complex material procurement. Dong Xingzhi, the head of the engineering department responsible for project material supply guarantee, stayed at the project department to fully guarantee the project's material supply, tirelessly inquiring about prices, checking, and inspecting various types of materials. His computer, email, and mobile phone were almost filled with material information, so much so that he sometimes couldn't even find contact information for his family. When the owner requested that the construction node be advanced again, the management personnel changed the monthly plan to a weekly plan, and the weekly plan was shortened to a 3-day plan. The construction team cooperated actively and proactively asked the logistics support team to deliver lunch to the site for on-site meals. After eating, they continued to work. If they were tired in the afternoon, they would proactively call the logistics support sister to deliver food and water to replenish their energy before continuing the charge. In the evening, when it was time to get off work, if the work was not finished, the logistics support sister would receive another call requesting food delivery. Everyone had a strong determination to not rest until the task was completed. The logistics support sister is also an admirable female employee of the project department. In order to ensure the emergency support of the base canteen, she sent her 5-year-old child back to her hometown, and she could only go back to see her after the project was completed...

On April 8, 2020, An'er Company completed the node task on time, officially tested the car on April 10, 2020, and started trial production on April 20, 2020. The management team received consistent positive evaluations from the owner, creating indispensable conditions for the smooth undertaking of the second phase project and seizing the opportunity to open up a bright future for An'er Company in the new energy field.

 

Management empowerment for new energy projects "Green light"

In May 2020, following the successful commissioning of the Phase 1 Ferrophosphorus project, the Phase 2 Ferrophosphorus and Lithium Phosphate projects were officially launched. Building on the successful implementation and thorough preparation of Phase 1, the organization and implementation of Phase 2 proceeded smoothly. Based on existing management models and construction experience, the company simultaneously followed up on construction planning during the bidding phase, proactively coordinating with design units and involving process technology and electrical management personnel. During the drawing process, design optimizations were made based on actual site conditions. Material plans for the entire project were compiled within 5 days of receiving the drawings, with an accuracy rate exceeding 80%. This ensured timely material provision, precise personnel allocation, and prompt problem resolution, making the characteristics of rapid project approval, design, and construction in the new energy industry a hallmark of An'er Company in the installation and construction sector.

Over the next two years, An'er Company gradually developed a mature and stable management model centered on "advanced planning, design assistance, grid management, safety prioritization, precise supply, and comprehensive support." This enabled the successful completion of six key projects: the Qujing Lintie Technology Lithium Phosphate Installation Project, the Qujing Defang Nano 15,000-ton Lithium Iron Phosphate Installation Project, the Qujing Defang Nano 40,000-ton Lithium Iron Phosphate Installation Project, the Qujing Defang Nano 40,000-ton Technical Modification Project, Phase 1 of the Qujing Huaxiang Technology Battery Recycling and Utilization Installation Project, and Section 1 of the Defang EVE 110,000-ton Lithium Iron Phosphate Project. This resulted in the "An'er Speed," completing installation from site entry to commissioning within 90 working days, even when civil construction was delayed. This fully met Defang Nano's requirement of completing a project from groundbreaking to commissioning every six months, achieving a win-win situation for both the owner and the contractor by prioritizing efficiency and effectiveness.
