On February 28, the company held its 2022 Business Operation Meeting. The meeting focused on implementing the spirit of the sixth session of the first congress of the Group's employees and representatives and the second session of the first congress of the company's employees and representatives. It systematically summarized the company's 2021 production and operation and the completion of major tasks, analyzed the current production and operation status, and studied and deployed the 2022 business objectives and tasks. Gu Yongmao, Party Secretary and Chairman of the company, Cui Yongzhi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman, and General Manager, and other Kunming-based members of the leadership team attended the meeting, along with heads of relevant functional departments and major leaders of various grassroots units. The meeting was chaired by Sun Yanke, Deputy General Manager of the company.

The meeting reported on the company's overall operating situation in 2021 and conducted a systematic analysis of the previous year's operating performance. Grassroots units reported on the progress of key business projects in 2022, as well as their business plans and implementation measures. Members of the leadership team delivered keynote speeches on the annual goals, plans, and measures for their respective areas of responsibility, based on their work experience.

The meeting pointed out that, In 2021, faced with the COVID-19 pandemic and a complex external market environment, the company, united as one, resolutely implemented the various decisions and deployments of the company's employee and representative congress, made precise efforts in key tasks such as production and operation and market development, and successfully completed various key annual targets, maintaining a generally positive production and operation trend.

The meeting emphasized that, 2022 is a crucial year for the full implementation of the company's 14th Five-Year Plan. The business tasks are substantial, and the company must unite to focus on the following aspects:

First, we must focus on Yunnan Province's “14th Five-Year Plan” key construction projects, closely monitor key investment and construction areas in new green industries, track key investment projects such as new industrial aluminum phosphate, green aluminum, titanium, and high-purity silicon, leverage the company's advantages in traditional industrial construction, focus on operations, and improve independent operating capabilities; second, further establish an operational approach of “high-end communication, coordinated advancement, and resource management,” fostering a positive atmosphere where everyone focuses on, cares about, and participates in operations; third, comprehensively strengthen the management teams of various grassroots units, consolidate operational responsibilities, strictly enforce assessments, conduct dynamic evaluations of the integrity database, and, based on the strengths and characteristics of each operating unit, form an interconnected operational structure; fourth, actively implement the Group's “going global” development strategy, formulate specific measures and work plans for breaking into overseas markets, increase the proportion of independent operations, drive major development through key projects, and ensure quality improvements through key projects; fifth, attach importance to operational risks, conduct risk analysis, strengthen source management, prioritize risk control awareness in operational work, and prepare risk contingency plans; sixth, make full use of ongoing projects, explore secondary operational potential, use production to promote operations, and use on-site work to expand markets.

Cui Yongzhi stressed that the company should firmly establish a “one-game” mentality, focus on their posts, perform their duties, be courageous and responsible, and consider the overall situation. In terms of thought, action, and goals, they should always remain consistent with the company. They should consider and position their work within the overall situation, consciously subordinate themselves to the overall situation, and resolutely uphold the overall situation.

Gu Yongmao pointed out that the market is the leader and lifeline of enterprise development and the source of value creation. We must have a philosophical perspective of “Where does the clear water come from? It comes from the source,” closely follow market trends in our operations, continue to uphold the unshakeable position of operational leadership, continue to promote the “wolf” spirit, and actively expand outwards.

The meeting required that the company should start from a new starting point, achieve new results, unite as one, and give full play to the “pack of wolves” effect, proactively plan and act, update concepts, improve work efficiency, and coordinate epidemic prevention and control to ensure that the company's various operational goals for 2022 are successfully completed, and promote the company's high-quality development through internal improvements.
